Haven't seen this footage for years. My first Prince gig. I'm in the background briefly outside the arena, and if you look at the gig footage where Prince is in white, you'll see someone right in front of his microphone, with an elbow up taking some photos. Thats me. . | |

I was 16, and it was a £20 110 pocket camera with a crappy flash. I'm amazed that they even came out the way they did. It was the good old days when security didn't jump and Prince was happy to pose for the front row! . | |

Please please PLEASE tell me they found the complete moron that kept blowing the whistle. That person should have been immediately escorted out of the stadium. He or she ruined nearly every song. | |

and George Michael got a mention as he attended, I was there the night Sting came on and played on Miss You, crap tickets near the back, but great gig, great to see the Revolution, only gig I saw them.
I was there in 1992 at London Earls Court D&P tour when George Michael came in and sat near me just before the lights came down, I had great tickets through the Controversy Fan Club.
George was obviously a fan, shame they never rcorded together, I don't think Prince would want to be Andrew Ridgely [Edited 12/28/16 14:13pm] | |
