Well traveling to Canada is not a big deal and for these short notice shows it is all driven by venue availability I guess.

Is this the Montreaux every Amerikan is writing about?

I guess he does a show there before the CAD$ depreciates even more...

Crazy , he was there w/ 3rdeye pretty recent over a lot of missed state's from West (unless u were able to get to the bay, I was lucky to have made it to Paramount, but refuse to spend that much for a stadium show) - NW - East - South.

Hope this isn't just a usual go over to Europe tour after playing a couple close to MN show's.

Wonder if it'll be 20 state's. Hope so, I def wanna see what else he has in store on the Piano.

Man I'm wondering if he'll ever bust out Old Friends for Sale!! Alway's loved that song. Lyric's are deep and something i can relate to from 1st to last sentence. I was shocked when he did that at the Palladium in LA w/ 3rdeye. Wish that set would surface, talk about a long an unexpected set. I no for fact 2 audience member's taped it but nothing ever leaked from it. Just like 17 day's would be gr8 0n piano. He did a piano version on a old rehearsal tape I have, so it's not like he has never thought about a piano version of 17, he played it slowed down & soulful, but that was in 83.

I love how these are considered a Piano & Microphone tour even though it's done in Hit & Run fashion. I guess this is Prince's idea of "touring" now, surprise dates&makin people scramble to check when/where next, and if they can even afford to get there on such short notice& for those who want to see him play and would have to fly. Flying short notice is so expensive, on top of tix, hotel, car rental, cab's, etc.

It's wild what some of us go through just to see a musician. He's the last of a dying breed of true artist's. It's sad, i'm glad i grew up when i did. There's just cheap manufactured pop star's in the new millineum. I can't think of 1 amazing artist from 2000-now that can be on the level of bands/artists i grew up w/. Even the hip hop got watered down an garbage.

DJ's too. I used to DJ an turntablist. I'm glad i heard Prince picked up the female DJ who was dj'ing the afterparty on Filmore an GAMH. She was cuttin up (funny she can truly dj w/ her titties scratchin&doin doubles/vinyl manipulation w/ em), blending great music. I'd buy a mixtape of her's. That's tight P bringing her on tour.

Guess 3rdeye is going to be dead. It went from a amazing Hendrix-esque bad ass show's, to kind f a let's just run through these song's w/ no soul, or lets throw horn's over em. Which would sound not so good-good depending on the show. If you notice Joshua isn't doing anything, same w/ Hannah. I think they screwed up a good thing for themselve's. Oddly who woulda thought out of the ashe's of 3rdeye would have had Prince doing a Piano & Mic tour, nevermind just the Gala.

Going to the Gala i know some of us thought we were seeing a 1 time experience. P woulda been nut's not to tour doing this tho. After all the above raved positive review's on the 2 Paisley set's, he woulda been crazy not to do it. Nevermind all the money goes to him. No1 else could do this. No backing band for anything. Just show's his true genius. Let's just hope he start's pulling out some more rarities&trax that haven't been played/been age's since played. Because some of the show's have been kind of repeating a lot of the same trax. Hoping there theater show's, i rather spend the Xtra and be able to see him then be in a oversized area w/ echoey sound and ton's of screaming drunk chicks.

Montreal lucky, but last spot i woulda picked to start back up.

Hola Purps from "The Big Easy"!!
Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

Will there be 'VIP' tickets? This venue looks grest as it only holds around 1,453 people according to Wikipedia. Most of the venues he has played so far have been over 2,000 people. I don't know the capacity of Paisley Park.

A vote for Trump is a vote against the establishment.

Would the Prince man avoid such a vote?
