Paisley Park - sold out shows? arrival time advise?

Hello! Question to the Paisley Park veterans... Have any of the Paisley Park shows sold out and typically what time do people start showing up for shows? I'm making my first trek out on the 21st and I'm so worried now that I may get turned away since my flight doesn't arrive until late afternoon. Any advise and/or insider info is greatly appreciated!!

Good question, love to know the answer. Not gonna make it out during the school year, but if something happens at the Park during the summer and I can make money happen - I'm there.

The shows in recent years have not sold out. The only one I can remeber that came close was the Oct 05, 2013 show. It was announced a few days prior. People start showing up several hours before start and stand in line. It being the dead of winter, it's hard to say how far people will go. I tend to wait to go out about an hour after advertised start time and have no issues getting in. This time may be very different, with it being announced so far in advance. Good luck! If you don't make it to the Thursday show, then a very good possibility of getting in the next couple of nights, if they do more shows.

I think this might be a different beast considering the insane amount of out of towners flying in... As Motherfunka mentioned it's very possible this will turn into a all weekend event so worst case scenario you will get in Friday and Saturday... Prince has been tweeting "Just come in" lol so maybe if its full when U get there show them your plane ticket or something smile GOODLUCK!!!

^ Someone considering travelling a long distance raised a similar question last week on Twitter.

The response was that more information would be provided on (last) Friday.

As far as I can see, the information supplied since suggests that the Paisley Park Sound Stage has been fitted with a carpet and quadrophonic sound, there has been a lighting rehearsal, and one of the Twinz has photographed Prince i.e. the sort of information that is of little help to someone trying to plan whether to risk travelling a long distance.

I would expect further information would be reported in the existing Sticky thread in this forum, here:
