Prince is not going to live forever. I will cherish every concert I can get.

And it´s time he turns to a different concert style. One that is suitable for his health, I guess.

Madonna is in London 1st and 2nd of December, and in Birmingham around 15th December ... chances of an onstage cameo? I'm going to all three shows and would die and go to heaven if this happend!!!!!!!!!!

If Prince makes a cameo appearance at Madonna's concert, will that make him her "unapologetic bitch" for the night? lol (just joking)

Works for me! lol

If prince brings this tour to the states! Eye will b ready to die afterwards. I ABSOLUTELY love him on piano more than ANY instrument! His keyboard playing is unmatched by anyone. Eye am over the moon in Xcitement! Even though the HitNRun tour with 3RDEYEGIRL was a semi acoustic dress rehearsal for this with prince prince prince handling some of the keyboards and guitar.
[Edited 11/9/15 17:06pm]
eye will ALWAYS think of prince like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. eye mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that prince wasn't of this earth, eye would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. prince

I've always wanted Prince to tour solo, although with a guitar not a piano. Hopefully there really will be a Glasgow show, although I'm not looking forward to the stampede for tickets if he's going to be playing in a small venue.

Yes, a piano session is intimate and arty. 300€ are cheaper than a trip to Paisley Park with it`s 30 people parties. We Europeans can do a little Maths though. biggrin

Well, if your comparing seeing Prince locally to having to travel across the other side of the world to see him then, yes, the place closest to you will likely be cheaper. What's your point?

The thought of seeing him do an intimate gig 10 minutes from my house (in Liverpool) is quite surreal. A nice change from going to Manchester or London. . I'll sell my wife and kids to get in there

You're not joking are you?

Well, hopefully I'll be at London and Birmingham. Liverpool if the date and prices work out. I'm really hoping this isn't simply converted hits. A few yes, but this gives him a rare opportunity to pull out the likes of:

So exciting for European fans! Some of these dates coincide with Andy Allo's tour. Wonder if they'll meet up along the way and do some joint gigs. Would be dope! Either way so excited that he's going solo and back to the piano biggrin

Two shows per night seems like that's how it will go down to me. Maybe 90 minutes at the most for each show, and a different set, which reminds me...I'd expect every show to have spontaneous moments and song choices. This is the first time he's performing a full show solo, so he doesn't have to rely on other musicians being rehearsed for whatever he performs on the night. I reckon you'll see a unique "set list" for each show.

Ahhhh, there will certainly be a sampler medley. I was wondering what Prince could do on a piano for even an hour, but of course he's going to do the sampler thing for a good chunk of it.

Sounds like the venues are quite small. Expect these shows to be aimed at the hard-core.

Hard core fans yes, but he is still only going to do the same 15-20 hits/covers he has been doing for what feels like forever now i bet. I hope you guys like this show and I hope he plays unusual stuff but this is one I can personnaly say I don't want to see. This would be boring to me but thats just me. I am die hard but not that die hard. I would have to be really drunk to get through a show of nothing but him and the piano for 90 minutes, especially when the encore comes and he breaks out the sampler set on top of the snoozefest piano ballads. Prince going Barry Manilow. This should be interesting to see how the crowd reacts for sure. I do hope you guys who go enjoy it though.

[Edited 11/9/15 12:56pm]

If U were there Saturday at PP I think U might have a different opinion... it's hard to explain but its basically him baring his soul and love of music out for everyone to feel.. no gimmicks no sampler sets, no cute band girls... Just him and his raw talent...

I'm still in awe with what he created last weekend...

I don't want to be overly optimistic, but this could be the Prince tour I've hoped for for years. Prince. An instrument. Pure talent.

Absolutely.

But I sure hope he restrains himself from the usual primadonna postures, such as :

- Here we are... [loooong pause] ("Do Me Baby" – overinflated)

- Hum-a-Babay, Baybay, Baybaaaayy... ("The Beautiful Ones" – Butchered)
- Sing the first 20 seconds of a song everyone is craving for, then skip to a beaten dead horse we heard too many times.

This ain't the Purple Rain Tour anymore, nor One Nite Alone.

So please Dear God, let have the purple-ego-crap fall off,
I need the Paris "Love Thy Will B Done" spirit again.

I need the guts.

There is no heaven. Just so you know.

And to prove it : 1986 Madonna is no more.

Free - we have enough live versions of this one.

Condition of the heart - we have enough live versions of this one.

Arboretum - Meh.

Until U're In My Arms Again - nice on record, but it's a poor composition, and it would show on the piano.

An Honest Man - we have the UTCM intro for this one.

June - you're joking, right?

When 2 R in love - we have the Lovesexy Tour boots for this one.

Way Back Home - nice on record, but it's a poor composition, and it would show on the piano.

Somewhere here on earth - Oh please.

I'm kinda worried for you.

After all Skipper did to all of us, repeatedly,
you're still wearing that hopeful, naive,
and may I add, kind of stupid fam smile.

Oh well, whatever suits you my friend.

When it comes to Skipper, "prepare for the worse" has become my motto.
Trust me, I never thought this could be true.
But his talent for missing opportunities and degrading his own repertoire
equals his talent on the keyboard.

u think way too highly of yourself...No one is saying who is right or wrong or fact based. I'm basically pointing out that there is a mature, respectful, measured way of talking to folks...

On the real, I find your "smartest guy in the room" routine to be very asshole-ish....U can show off your all-knowing intellect without being a total dick....It's quite possible....
