Why waste the time. Prince could shit in a paper bag and he/she would call it a masterpiece that will change the music industry forever. Oh yeah with rolleyes rolleyes rolleyes rolleyes rolleyes rolleyes rolleyes rolleyes rolleyes rolleyes

.

I just can't help it. I snap every so many months after seeing the same posts over and over no matter what the topic is. Maybe a cut and paste of an article here and there but absolutley no real contribution to any discussion. No wonder this place is so negative. The blind over the top gushing sure brings out the negative in me.

.

No $22 is not high. but how many of those $22 tickets were available? The other prices are ridiculous for a "peace rally concert". I've recently defended his ticket prices and forked out over $300 to see him in Detroit. However it was not for a peace rally to help a city heal. Not to mention a city that is in an uproar because of the poor treatment and living conditions. So who in the hell has or wants to shell out $122-$500? Better yet how in the world can anyone justify or defend that is beyond me. I admire and repect the idea but once again the execution is terrible.

Like I keep saying, it all depends on where the money winds up, Prince's pocket, the promoter's or Gray's family. Depending on how that shakes out it's easy to see this as simple exploitation and a half assed publicity stunt instead of a genuine act of charity. I posted something simliar earlier and everyone ignored it for some reason but that's the crux of the issue, isn't it?

As far as a possible set list goes, an acoustic, laid back set would be appropriate and welcome, similar to what he did on the Muscicolgy tour.

"Controversy" could definitely work.

.

Maybe "Love"

.

"Reflection" might be nice

.

And you guys might laugh but how about "Dance On" or "Positivity"? Never heard him do those live but they seem poignant to the issue.

.

"Free" might be good just to sing it sarcastically.

.

I offered to buy my Mom tickets for the show as a Mother's Day present but she's scared to death to go. Chocolate covered strawberries it is. Now I'm trying to find a song where Prince sings about mothers and coming up empty.

.

Anyway, what the hell is up with this website and hitting the return button trying to break paragraphs?

None of the money is going to the Gray family. Learn how to read and I not sure why you think Prince needs to pretend he is giving money to charity

Anyone notice that on the seating chart there seems to be a big empty section in front of the "front" row floor seats

Also, every once in a while you find a ticket at regular price. And the handicapped seats are still $197. Seems like the folks at ticketbastard are asleep on the job. Lol....go figure!

I think that map is just screwed up or something. Can't be that big a space. Probably just a few feet I'm guessing. I wonder if anyone will snag that seat. I bet they lower front row area seats by tomorrow night. $200 seems about right, with fees.

I saw that seat too, so tempting. I am in NYC, just not sure I want to drive down and back. I will be like a $700.00 evening between gas, tolls, and my obligatory stop for a Philly Cheesesteak on the way down (and maybe back too!).

Change and transformation start from the inner world...if ppl think that the ticket prices are too high for some in Baltimore, purchase an extra ticket and give it away. Don't put the burden on Prince to give away tickets. I have to share this, back in 1993, I gave away two great floor seats to two street people in Chicago, security gave them issues and found a reason to hassle them from getting into the gig. I think that they snatched their tickets also. but, you should have seen their faces light up when they were given the tickets...

There are folks with good hearts in this world cool

.

I found one...please give this man some free tickets! biggrin
