Well he is old now. I don't like the slow down version either. He did the same with I Could Never Take the Place of Your man and its even worse. Getting old sucks for artists because they all get slower with their songs it seems. Both are two of my favorites and both are ruined to me now

you know actually it could be he has to do it for the band to keep up also. They are a horrible band so he may have to slow it down for them, especially the drummer. Just a possibility. Who knows for sure.
