Obligatory 'what would you like to hear on this tour' thread

Hoping that this tour is different to Febs shows (just a warm up?) and the setlist will be more varied...what 1 REALISTIC song (eg not Sexy Mf, Sister, Head etc) would you really like to hear?

I think id like to see a decent length piano section (was really brief at the show I saw in Feb) with Starfish and Coffee as I don't recall being at a show where he's played them yet.

I'm hoping that Computer Blue tweet was a hint that he's gonna play it, as long a version as possible smile
Aside from that there's a number of songs i've never managed to catch live that he does play, Endorphinmachine and When You Were Mine, that i'd like him to keep in the set. In regards recent stuff i'd like to hear Lavaux and Boom.

I hope it IS different to Feb...I dont know why I think it would be (bigger venue, tweets about band rehearsing, computer blue tweet, new WB era).

I'd like to stick to the rock vibe, so I want to hear a lot of songs they've already been playing like Bambi and Endorphinmachine. I would really like to hear Computer Blue, Wall of Berlin, America, Private Joy, Joy in Repetition, Boom... and I could go on and on. Pink Cashmere would be incredible. Also, I'd like a decent piano set with How Come You Don't Call Me Anymore, Adore, The Beautiful Ones, Condition of the Heart etc. An acoustic set would be nice too.

To be honest, even if the setlist is exactly the same as the majority of the bit n run feb gigs I'll still get to hear loads that I didn't back in feb with all of the shows being at least twice (sometimes 3 times) as long as the one I attended.

Gonna be good

I'd really like to hear 3rdeyegirl rip into elephants and flowers and electric chair, I think both songs would suit their style!

I heard they played 'I'm yours' recently, that would be amazing and 'computer blue' would be the icing on the cake!

Been thinking about it at work and I reckon 17 days would sound awesome with his band. Tie in with the Purple Rain anniversary too cool

I'd like to hear So Far So Pleased, but when he played it live the last two times, or perhaps the only two times, it didn't sound very good. Sometimes he totally nails songs live, and sometimes, well...they sound flat.

I'm in the 'fortunate' position that the show I went to in feb was by far the shortest so even if he repeats the set from shepherds bush, Manchester etc then it'll be a 3 fold improvement/treat.

I'm really really hoping that Computer Blue does get a look in

There are so many reasons this could happen (ASSSS EVERYBODY HAS ALREADY FIGURED)

-30th anniversary
-Lyrical content not being explicit
-Very much a guitar (and yes synth too) driven track fit for 3EG
-and of course the tweet from recently

IF this happens...there's a good chance I might spontaneously combust

Apart from that I am hoping that we do get something a little different or expanded from the February shows, but I can't be too fussy as I've been very fortunate to have seen 2 shows already this year and there are many who didn't so fingers crossed they get to finally see a full fledged 3EG show....

All I can say is:

ROLL ON NEXT FRIDAY AND SATURDAY cool

Ok, perhaps he could do a two shows in each city tour, with both shows being mostly different:

8,000 to 25,000 seat Arena Show:

Purple Rain in full (60 min) (Darling Nikki likely edited or instrumental....and why is the time longer than the album? Breaks between songs, and maybe extended jams on a few tracks

Then the following songs:

Soft And Wet

I Wanna Be Your Lover

Uptown

Gotta Broken Heart Again

Private Joy

Annie Christian

1999

Little Red Corvette

Raspberry Beret

Kiss

Mountains

encore 1:

Sign O The Times

U Got The Look

encore 2:

Forever In My Life

2,000 to 7,000 seat venues

The Breakdown

Elephants & Flowers

Starfish & Coffee

Play In The Sunshine

6

Strange Releationship

Alphabet St

Lovesexy

When 2 R In Love

Thieves In The Temple

When Doves Cry

Endorphinmachine

Witness 4 The Prosecution

Computer Blue

Thunder

So Far So Pleased

A Million Days

Life Can Be So Nice

Anotherloverholenyohead

Encore 1:

Paisley Park

Moonbeam Levels

Encore 2:

I Wish U Heaven

I dunno if anyone else has mentioned this, but 3rdEye could do a killer version of Anotherlover. Prince on the keys, then the band with the guitars, bass and drums. It'd sound sweet.
