Well that was... unexpected biggrin Went to both Manchester shows in Feb, so I really wouldn't mind an NPG show so I can experience both sides of P. Always wished I went to the 21 nights shows, so...

I got two sides... and they're both friends.

Here we go again!

I can't believe Prince will have been to Manchester 3 times this year by May. He needs to get a nice place in Chorlton-cum-Hardy, save on travelling costs.

Scotsman1999

Truly great news for his long forgotten scottish fans. We have to get him into a park in Paisley, just to say he did it.

Waited all these years to see Prince and getting to see him twice in the space of months in my home town (If i manage to get tickets) I'd imagine the Saturday nights might happen if it sells out as they are free.

it's 12,000 capacity though, plus he's playing elsewhere so you got a good chance of getting a ticket.

He's just tweeted a poster image on Twitter but I think its wrong. Keeps mentioning London but listing venues elsewhere.

All of my hang-ups have gone. How I wish you felt the same.

3rdeyegirl just tweeted this. However Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow are now apparently in London.

EDIT: Looks like the tweet has been deleted.

That is the dumbest poster I have ever seen. Seriously, wtf?

Also.. four arena shows with only 3rdEyeGirl? I know he drummed up a bit of interest back in February, but that is a hell of a lot of tickets to sell for 3rdEyeGirl.

Obviously Prince's name will sell them out, but that would mean lot of disappointed people wanting to hear Kiss, LRC, 1999, etc.

isn't the MEN 21,000 capacity? Or are there smaller halls within? Kinda suggests NPG and 3rdEye? And 16th May! Isn't that the anniversary of the release of When Doves Cry - thought he'd be in the US for that? Shit, gonna have to draft a request to go from the wife! Is it Eventim that do tickets for the MEN? Fuckadoodle doo - moving stuff with my dad on Friday so will try and be at a comp at midday. Hopefully see some of you orgers I met at the February gigs...

That's quite a gap between the Manchester and Glasgow shows.

Plenty of oom for more gigs in between maybe?

Yeah, the MEN (Phones4U) is the biggest arena of it's type in Europe. I don't think 3rdEye would sell that show out on it's own, nevermind with at least 3 other UK arena shows around the same time.

Besides, I dunno about the rest of you, but 3EG would sound shit in such a huge space.

it said Rotterdam, Ziggo Dome.

so i'm guessing it should have been ''Amsterdam, Ziggo Dome''.

Might be the reason why they delete the picture.
