BOycott Prince concerts !!!!!!!

I for one do not like being treated like a mug..all I have seen from Prince since he been here is 1 unorganized night at the ballroom,no gig on a Friday or saturday, his management begging his fans to push his pretzolologic black Sabbath rip off song ,his fans paying big money to stay in London on the off chance of a gig,not even the decency to tip people off to stop them traveling,no announcement of any kind the whole things a joke and the jokes on us,so I say he can keep his stupid games to himself ,respect is earned not gauranteed ,so just go back home and keep on charging your usa fans 300 dollars to see your so called new band, not interested you promised a lot and have delivered nothing ,and to all those poor prince its not his fault fans ,grow up and face facts he don't give a dam ,but keep pushing his song lolllll

man! relax a little, he's not even been here a week and has already given a few shows! Yes, keeping up with the knowledge of what's going on with these "secret" gigs is not easy and frustrating, but if you're a long time fan you should know that it's always been that way! That's the very nature of those sorts of concerts and if they were any different then they would not be the same event. I'm sure standard scheduled concerts for those that want the more predictable show will be announced in due course.

Can be SO frustrating, but worth it when (if!) it all works out. I'm too old for all that chasing about so a bottle of wine and a bootleg concert video will do for me!

I was too late for gig one on Wednesday sad heartbroken that I didn't go... Then heard about the 2nd raced down there queued up for 30 mins and got in thanks to Prince for having the energy and effort to do another show.. There will be other shows with tickets... Prince does care about his fans... Sorry but he does: O2 was 31.21 aftershows were £25.. I saw one if his best shows ever on Wednesday for £10... Now I'm hungry for more... Ps bring the npg over, I need horns smile

I am with you , gutted that as a true loyal fan spent time and Money to see him all over Europe and some shows in USA , and on too if that wasted my time looking for tickets etc for these shows . Shame on you Prince and your manager/groupie not professional , I've been into your whole music followed you, and have taken time off thinking you'll be sellout tickets to your fans ?! Kiran Sharma is selling you and Prince I thought of you as a intelligent person but to hire someone who is not very professional is beyond me .

Um I have a life and to be honest I think Prince is great and love him however he has lost the plot if he thinks this Sharma promotion/manager who is obviously doing a grand job at getting all her friends twitting about him then good?
He IMO does not need all the hush hush re dates his fans would go see him , but we have no chance of that it's like we are donkeys and his got us all excited ! And to think that all these people go to see a gig which would be a dream for me in a small venue , I am just a normal fan who has respsonssabilities and can't just go to London and take a chance of getting a ticket. I love him and just sad I suppose sad

I really dont understand the negativity toward Prince at the moment he said these would be Hit and Run gigs. He's been here less than a week and has already played 2 shows at the Electric Ballroom so everyone who queued got to see him (I'm not an idiot I'm sure the extra £££ was another factor). So far it feels like the majority of people are just bitching and whinging about the lack of notice, not being able to buy tickets online, having to queue etc etc. I understand not everyone has the ability or time to dash around for these gigs but plenty of people do, Wednesday proved that.

Its not like he has said there will be a show on Friday and Saturday and then not bothered doing them. If fans have travelled down on the off chance there would be a show then that is there choice no one made them do it.

Everyone who I have spoken to about these gigs outside of this forum seem genuinely excited by the whole thing (I'm not saying everyone on here is being negative). Maybe some people have been spoilt in the past with priority tickets and things and now they dont realise how lucky they are that he is doing smaller gigs in this country. Not to mention he is charging £10 for a ticket! Stop moaning and just enjoy the ride and if it is annoying/frustrating you too much why not just ignore the whole situation.

Please DO 'boycott' the Prince concerts. You will be one less person in the queue for me to worry about. After the scale of Wednesdays turn-out though, your suggestion is frankly, more than a little absurd.

Waah wash cry cry cry...things didn't go smooth and lovely ...there was hustle and bustle and I don't like it...waaah waaah cry cry.

My ticket, that I'm entitled too, needs to be brought to me by a butler to my doorstop after he has negotiated vacation days + per diem with my employer so I don't have to work. This ticket will be nestled on a quaint pillow with a second to go with it... as well as a supurb looking young lady for me to serve as a date so I need not be alone. That will satisfy me. I'm entitled to nothing less.

punctuation, sentences, paragraphs, and all that elementary bullshit we learnt at school is useful when putting an argument together for discussion.

PS do not use anotherloverholeinyourhead as an excuse for the above disaster wink

I have a job, family and a life and I live hundreds of miles away from London - so I have no choice but to boycott these shows. Would love a proper UK tour, although I realise that's not going to happen. Even a couple of proper concerts in London, announced and ticketed in advance, would allow me to stand a good chance of seeing a show - but I can't see that happening either, under his current shite "management".

As frustrating as it is to manage to make it to these hit and run type shows, you should thank your lucky stars that Prince is even willing to do this for only 10 pounds!!! Back in 2011, he did some short notice shows in LA at the Troubador and the House of Blues (ie: announcing it the morning of the day of the show) and charged $200 a ticket! Whether you are able to attend or not, at least be grateful that the opportunity is there!
