It was amazing...

Industry was let in first and he played

Dreamer over the PA

1.New Song?

2.New Song?

3.Guitar

4.Plectrum Electrum

5.Funk N Roll

6.Play That Funky Music

Fans were let in no charge

7.I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man

8.I Like It There (Prince took Ida's bass and it became and extended jam)

9.Cause & Effect (Again Extended Jam

After the lights came on Prince and 3rdeyegirl came out to thank us all and the crew of The Electric Ballroom and told they had to cut it off because of curfew but they would be back tomorrow night

I'm just flawed, Afterwards most of the crowd (who were young industry folk) were saying things "well lads we've just seen the best gig of our lives".... Most common thing I over heard was "DID THAT JUST HAPPEN".

I'm sure it was. And I'm also sure the usual suspects will soon be here, carping about the setlist for a performance they didn't attend!

Agreed

I've just seen 3 shows in 24 hours the first was FREE!!! the other two were £10 each and I will never even entertain any of the usual Setlist..blah Hannnah can't drum... blah

They were tight each performance of each song was diffrent let alone each show.. They are tight they are amazing. I've been to lots of shows and have heard lots of boots and these shows meet the standards of The Revolution, Lovesexy or Gold Era bands for skill energy and atmosphere..

If you can see them SEE THEM!

Prince has just entered another golden era of live shows (There I said IT) smile

And better than all of this was that it was half early 20's fans with no expectations and shoulda been there when baggage .. And he flawed them and made them all go apeshit without "The Hits"

Prince is on top form and he just gets better and better wow, and 3eye girl were amazing I hope he keeps this band for a long time. The sounds coming out of all of them was 1st class.

The gig(s!) were probably the best shows I've ever seen Prince do, absolutely brilliant. And did feel surreal at times, there was one in particular when i saw Micah Paris there for a few seconds I felt like I had gone into some kind of time warp, very odd feeling lol.

Im sure in the second gig I heard a few bars of Computer Blue??
FUNKNROLL! dancing jig "February 2014, wow". 'dre. nod

Wednesday night the 2 nd show I saw him near the VIP area front of stage there was Mica and Nicole S. She had. Yellow halter neck dress on and she beautiful truly drop dead beautiful.

I chatted with Lianne abit later. Sweet girl.

Brian Ferry son just pushed in stood in front of me and he very tall. I was gonna have a word but he moved after 2 mins. He called after Otis Redding.

I thanked the security they looked after me so well I was right near the wall near the steps to stage. I nearly fell over because a ass pushing me and they grapped his camera made him delete the Prince picture. They definlately looked out for me.. as a small woman.

I could hear nods to Todd Rundgren's Utopia the song the Ikon look it up You tube.

Waiting in line for hours people pushed in front of me and 2 ass men pushed in towards the front. They didn't know I not stupid and I told security they pushed in and karma they did not have their comp slips. They must came out first show because people mingling nearby.

I do not like reading people got into 3 shows because only 2 shows as a fan you could have got into.

People who went first show could not have got in the 3nd show unless someone nabbed a comp slip for them.

I only got into press night by waiting in the cold.

The mayor of Camden even waited in line to get in.

Shame on the queue pushers and people who abuse the system.

I thought he was fantastic.

More Camden gigs to come for sure. If you look for the signs you will find them.

Um that's not true at all... Let me explain how a fan (who never pushed infront of anybody) got into 3 shows.

Show 1... Wait outside in the cold and pouring rain listening to him play a couple of songs before they let you in

Show 2... Cue up in the pouring rain and wind for 7 hours till they let you in

Show 3... Leave show 2 and go to the back of the cue waiting for all the people with slips to be let in and then being let in without a slip as there was only about 400 with slips waiting outside and the clup holds around 1000.

So don't feel bad that people got to see him three times as I know about 10 of us that did just that and another 30 that got to see the 2 wednesday shows without pushing in front of anybody

Absolutely!
My friend didnt make it into the first night even though he queued outside for too long,

Then the next day we was there from 1:30 and after 7 hours got in fine (despite the rush and crush), and when we had to leave we just joined the queue again and got in even easier than we did the first time. The comp slips ran out after AROUND 400 PEOPLE! So you really could have got in! I know this as FACT because myself and my friend were the first to be allowed in that didn't have a comp slip!!!

I've seen Prince nearly 40 times in my entire 30 year fandom, and I will rate this show as something very very special!

Fair enough as 3 guys tried to jump the que ue right next to me and they did not have comp slips and did not get in.

We were told by security no comp slip you do not get in do do not lose it and they given straight after we told we will not get in first show.
