Spot on. In the last year Prince his businessmodel seems directly aimed at covering Costs as They surface.
Bands rehearse at clubs and get paid with aftershowrevenue,
Taxes and courtstuff is paid by tours.
Stage is paid by commercials/ superbowldeals.
Wardrobe is paid by deals wink
Not much compagnies have such direct and open structure lol

Interesting observations, you might be right, though!

Also mention the downsizing of the entourage, the local 'securirty' on tours, cheap local promotors, etc.

Albeit a slight bit shorter wink Been thinking with these recent shows, it's so clear that Montreux 2013 was the rollout of a new style. So fortunate to have been there! It's a shame there's no video as yet - I think the boots available are valuable but fail to convey how cool it was. Also, no Quest tweets from Montreux, but still doesn't really explain the limited attention those shows got.

Simplify your life.

That works for almost everybody. So probably also for Prince.

No hassle, focus on the essence.

Good for him.

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

And ive always been taught thoughout my life n business that the best way is to always , when possible, have someone else incur the costs why you do a rev share on profits
