I think you are correct! I bought tickets for my wife and I but it was hard to swallow the price. I understand it's a small venue but come on!!!

Tell that to the folks in SF who were crammed in like New Yorkers on the subway at five. Or the guy who offered to buy my ticket for a thousand dollars. Yes, very expensive but I am willing to bet he dances better than all of us.
I would, of course, like less expensive tickets so more people could see him. But he is still very much worth whatever he charges.

Rich or, in my case, foolish, heedless and reckless.

I think it is the high priced tickets and that there is not a big Prince fan base here in Phoenix. I moved here from MPLS in 1997 and most folks I mentioned the name Prince to throughout the years I have lived here, either make fun of him or of me because I like him. Some just look with a blnk face like who's Prince? I am surprised he even came here to play, but I am glad he is here.

I see your point.

As long as tickets sell there is not really an impulse for him to change something.

There seems to be a market for these prices as some shows did sell quite well.

For $250 I would want a big production. I can see $100 but $250 is too high. I've been a fan from the beginning but would have to serious think if he comes to OHIO if I would go. He may prepping for a large scale tour...who knows. Time will tell.

When I saw him in Vegas, I actually thought he danced & moved quite well, especially for somebody who has allegedly had a hip replacement. wink
