Got the three tix for the three nights. Wow, i didint plan a trip to CH in July for a weekend but somehow i feel it is worth it  :)Anyone coming from Poland? I will fly, but otherwise we can spend some time in montreux. unless there is a group, then maybe we can consider a car.... Let me know, still didnt get my plane ticket :)Thanks Prince, but please dont ruin it by cancelling last minute. U did it already for a geneva show back in 2008 (i think).  ______________

My wife and I are staying at the Best Western Eurotel Riviera, Montreux and we are there for the 3 shows.
We've never been to Montreux before, so people can suggest other places to meet. DrD | |

aside from hotel bars i remember from last time, there were open air shack-type bars on the waterfront.. not very posh but in staggering distance to the venue & probably most practical for meet up. there is a bar inside the venue, i don't recall any bars in the street, maybe a couple of affordable restaurants/cafes see you there! | |

Your hotel is very close to the venue. We've stayed there twice during the festival. Try and get a room on a high floor, as the food and drink stalls are very close to the hotel and the party goes on until the early hours if the weather is nice. Otherwise you may want to bring earplugs. | |

I need two standing tickets for Sunday.
Originally they were about 170€ (from the official Montreux hp). How they are all "unaivailable" and sites like viagogo sell them for 270€ only...
Does anybody know if there is a way of getting cheaper tickets still? Either via internet or directly in Switzerland (I have friends there who would be able to get tickets for me).

Nevermind, ordered my tickets today. They were almost twice as expensive as the original ones, but I didn't want to take a gamble and end up with no ticket at all.
Flight is booked, too.
If you see me there, just walk up to me and say hello! I'll probably be wearing a big, silver symbol-necklace.
