Not true...bowie for example was playing live there and many others too...

I was in the audience at the November-show in Bremen with Tom Hanks, Halle Berry etc.

And Robbie Williams and Gossip definitely performed 100% live. There was no playback.

Back when Thomas Gottschalk hosted the show there were some old-school acts from time to time who were allowed to perform 2 or 3 songs in the show. Just 2 or 3 years ago KISS were on the show, and they performed severel songs.

Michael Jackson did 2 songs in 1995.

So I believe that Prince would be allowed to do more than 1 song, if he wants to.

He could do a new song in the middle of the show, and then end the show with a greatest hits medley.

That would be the best set up...one new song and some greatest hits songs...maybe a short interview....all in front of 10 million+ viewers

"Wetten, dass" wouldn`t be too bad audience wise. Remember Pink, Alicia Keys and Pink also reched out to their younger?? fans through this show. We P-fans tend to forget that WE are not that young anymore either. Most fans I know are between 40 and 60. Yeah and we also buy Pink and Alicia Keys albums.

Sorry, Prince was never! on Wetten Dass. I was wrong. Back then I was 14 and at that time I saw him for the first time and now I know I was thinking wrong over 10 years that he was on Wetten Dass. Better late then never

Is there any chance that this is really happenning? He is playing beginning at 11 pm in Minneapolis the night before... given the time difference and flight time--not to mention there has been no acknowledgement from Wetten, Dass...?--I am wondering if there is anyway this rumor could be true.

I live in Germany and I'd travel to Offenburg if he'd be there...
