I have it from a reliable source that they are only expecting around 9000 to the show on the 26th. I believe the Entertainment Centre holds 13500. It must have been close to sold out on the 18th. I hope there is a last minute rush when people realise that the tour is nearly over.

With plenty of empty seats around it might be worth trying to sneak into a better section.

Tickets are overpriced I reckon. Sure, jack them up for the first one, but do some deal or something for the second. I know at least 10 people that I know I could convince to come along if the prices were a little more reasonable, i.e. $100 Gold / $50 Silver or something. Or alternatively... don't play at the BEC! Do the second night at the Convention Centre or something... I dunno.

Last night was far from a sell-out also. Aparently some of the upper sections were curtained off. Ah well. I'm sure he'll bring the funk regardless cool

Now that we've seen all of the other setlists, what's your wishlist for this concert?

We didn't get Gold last time, so I'd love to hear that live. I don't want to be too greedy, so I won't add anything else, except to say that something from the Symbol album would be great, as unlikely as it is since there have been no songs from it so far. I'd happily take The Morning Papers.

The boss is out today, so I can have the music a little louder at my desk. biggrin

Rustyrek I honestly don't mind what he plays - it's alllll goooood!

I have seen him do Gold twice this tour and it's pretty magical - gold confetti filling the stadium. I hope for your sake he does that smile

Which songs had confetti last Brissy show?

The ones here (in Syd), that i've seen have been Purple Rain (purple obviously), Sometimes it Snows in April (white like snow... ahh) and Gold.

See you in Brissy smile

hey we are on the same page, i am dying to hear anything from the symbol album, i keep telling people i wanna hear The Morning Papers, but i don't believe he has that in is repetoire at the moment, would it be awesome to see the alterations he could pull off with that song. tho i used to live on the gold coast, i am not going to the brissy concerts this tour, i went during 2003 tho it was too good then... i am in melbourne now.

I'm scanning PrinceVault now and The Morning Papers last got a run in 2007. Bring back the flanelette shirt!!!

7 is the song played the most live and more recently it seems. That's our best hope, flyorra, and I'd take it for sure. Great song and one that my missus actually likes (not that she's going).

Well I decided that I'd go to this one too :)

He's 53 and in another 9 years he'll be 62... don't think it'll be the same then...

Almost like a farewell Australia tour really, unless he decides to come every year from now on...

I'll probably go to some of his overseas shows though. Will look for conferences on around the same time and make it a tax deduction smile

This will be my 15th Prince concert...I don't like odd numbers, so a nice little aftershow would go down a treat right now smile

When I lived in Europe I said I'd always go see Prince if he came to my country. Now I live in Australia, so if he comes to my continent I'll go see him.

i find this post to be insulting.who are you to say that this is a farewell tour and what does age have to do when you're a dedicated performer.i've seen Eric Clapton at 65 rocking the stage,

Mick Jagger was on SNL last weekend, nearly 69 years old and still rocking it, I would say Prince will be touring for quite some time yet

Not only Mick, there are many other performs who are older then His Royal Badness who can rock the stage .There are artists born the same year as Prince who look even younger then Prince and still at their peak in a live setting.Duran Duran for example
