PRINCE WELCOME 2 THE UK???WILL IT HAPPEN

AGES AGOWHEN PRINCE VISITED THE 02 ARENA TO PERFORM FOR 21 NIGHTS I DECIDED TO GO EVEN THOUGH I HAD M/S BUT IT ENDED UP I COULDNT BECAUSE MY DAD DIED AT THE SAME TIMEAND IM LEFT WONDERING IF THERES GOING TO BE A WELCOME 2 THE UK TOUR OR A NEW ALBUM.THE SWITZERLAND RUMOURS GAVE ME HOPE ON THE ALBUM FRONT BUT I DONT THINK I COULD HANDLE NO TOUR OR ALBUM.SEEMS THE UK GETS NEGLECTED AT EVERY TURN.AND IF PRINCE ACTUALLY READS THIS WILL WE SEE A UK TOUR(HOPEFULLY IN SCOTLAND).

i Pray, it happens. Wish he did a UK tour, not been 2 my home town, Manchester, for nearly 10 years!

I think its time 4 him 2 do a UK tour. He more recognised and sought after, at any time in his carrer, tickets will sell no problem. The venues here are great and massive.

The CapsLock is annoying and made me not read your post, I'm sorry.

Have a look at 'The W2A: Euro Tour Song Survey' http://prince.org/msg/12/362417

The Kent show was his only UK gig ouside of London since 2002.

2007 was a long time ago, but 2002 was even longer. 21 Nights was not a tour.

I don't think 2 months in 2007 is 'neglecting' the UK....still I'm always up for seeing him in this country smile

I don't think it is either, but it is a pain in the tits if you live 400+ miles away.

^ Yes but in American terms 400 miles is seen as being practically on your doorstep!

I don't care what it is in American terms.

For the record I travel to London from Scotland quite a lot for gigs, i'm just saying it would be nice if he were to play even 1 show north of the border, or even in northern England.

As for playing up here a lot, well..... if you count 4 times over 10 years a lot, I suppose he did. lol

Hate to have to break this to you, but he changed his name from prince back to Prince years ago.

Indeed, still... I have been lucky enough to attend plenty of other Prince gigs. Not seen him live since 2002 though.

Why didnt you go see him in europe over the last 2 summers? The Flights are cheap so it's not much different than travelling to London.

I went to plenty and see no reason for him to come to the UK, although it would be nice.

Wha'?? There's no reason for him 2 go 2 Europe/Canada/wherever then if that's ur rationale. Stoopid thing 2 say.

Dont be such a twat, read what i wrote and you will see you could have travelled around europe over the last 2 summers and seen him in concert.

Why wait for him to come to the UK and complain when you have the chance of seeing him so easy.

I thought you were a die-hard and you've missed up 22 opportunities since to see him live?!?!?

The stereotype about Scots being tight must be true wink

Charmed, I'm sure! wink Relax, it's ok. All I'm saying is if he goes elsewhere, why would the UK not be just as viable a place. And I have actually travelled elsewhere in Europe to see his funkiness, so don't get ur knickers all in a twist! Peace

I missed the 21 Nights shows due to ill health. I was not a well man.

As for the Kent gig? I spent my cash on going to see Erykah Badu instead.

As for the stereotype, you are too smart to believe that shite. wink
