Right now, Prince is just finishing up his tour in Europe. There are rumors he will start another Vegas residency after his European tour, but nothing is certain. Has anyone heard any other rumors of where he will play next.

There were some rumours emerging a few weeks ago about Aussie promoters trying to woo him, first for an event in Sydney in September, then talk of some summer festivals (which are in early 2012), but I haven't heard anything recently, so the former at least is highly unlikely at this point.

Elisa has made reference on FB to him and the NPG returning to the US in the 'fall', so at this stage I think they're most likely to return home after Sth America.

I think this would be the best, turn back to US. And do the places he hasn't been last time. And then come back to Europe in spring... that would be perfect timing.

I'm guessing it might a bit much to do something in the fall given he's toured for a while now: late winter US/21 nights then europe summer tour...but maybe he/the band has still got the energy

Do we think he can sell $100 tickets in the USA? (sorta like 100 euro tickets in Europe)

I paid 120 euros for one ticket in Finland, that makes 172 $. And that was NOT the most expensive ticket. In Norway I paid 180 euros = 259 $ for golden circle. BUT I HOPE he will come here soon again !!!

You never know.

on the one hand you would say that Europe has seen enough for the moment. On the other hand: critics where enthousiast all over the place and Prince got a lot of media attention. So he could come back. I do hope he changes his show (overall), because he has been touring Europe for three years in a row with basically the same stage set-up and set list (yes i know he played a load of different tunes over all, but he also played a lot of the same songs/same order).

But i could live perfectly well with prince playing other places the next year.

Prince will be performing in Brazil in just a few days

wasnt australia next!!! there were some rumours weeks ago about an appearance on a festival.
