Y has Prince forgotten about middle America?

So I guess Prince can only play overseas, the east coast, or the west coast? What about us in the middle? Atlanta, Chicago/Detroit, St. Louis, etc. Can we get welcomed 2 America too?

POSITIVITY!!!

Americans don't have a fear of flying....Some Americans recognize that he got his start here, his music has been inspired by artist who are form here and he should've continued his tour here and gave the people who've supported him since 94 East (do u no what that is?) a chance to attend a summer concert of their favorite artist.

Just like the irish don't understand U2 touring the states and British never understood why the Stones toured 'abroad'?? Come on, get a life.

Wow.. u know 94 east ... please don't act like you're a number 1 fan cuz u know what 94 east is.. like europeans don't know... in fact, ALL artist prefer a european crowd over an american.. Europeans are more 'cheery', they can party better,... And that's what prince thinks as well...

take a look at aftershows... 9 out of 10 aftershows are better in europe...

and btw 94 East wasn't the beginning, what about Grand Central/Champagne ( do u know what that is?)

It seems that he will most likely continue his tour in the Fall according to Elisa Fiorillo's tweet: http://twitter.com/#!/Efa...6282798081

"May not b seeing my European friends after all :0( but happy to have some time off with the family be4 it starts up again in the fall."

I just hope that he also brings it to Canada, more specifically Toronto.

I'm sure that there are a few million kids in African countries who have had some positive things happen in their life due to the awareness Bono has brought the continent. U2 may have "sold out," but the 360 Tour from 2009-2011 is close to 890 million in gross revenue. If you add up Prince's gross revenue for the last 15 years, it is not even 500 million. I think Prince is a billion times better than U2, but Prince's business decisions and poor money management have prevented him from being the most recoginzed success in Pop/Rock Music History. U2 would not allow Tony M within 5,000 miles of their recording studio, and U2 would not have worn those dumb Star Trek Next Generation Outfits that Prince had Tony M, Damon D, and Kirk J wear either.

Yes, Prince has done some good with his money, but he's always failing to pay his bills, and he is always being sued...and not just the stupid celebrity lawsuits. There have been countless businesses that have simply not been paid, and that is so lame. I've barely made any money in my life, but have never missed a payment on anything. When I've been treated like crap by Corporate America, I could not afford to put Slave on my face.

If Prince had U2's Management, and released an album every 3 years, and maybe a 15 disc Monster Set of outtakes every 10 years, and a great Live DVD ever 5 years, the media would be arguing if he is better than the Beatles. Instead, Prince has what he has...still great, but he did not live up to his potential.

Either way, I still take Prince over U2 or anybody. It's just frustrating to deal with his crap. Anybody complaining about Prince not going to Atlanta or wherever just doesn't understand Prince. I live in Florida, and went to all 6 Carolina shows, since I knew there was a chance this would be it. After paying nearly $1500 for tickets to six shows...I should have been outraged that $1500 would have covered the entire 21 Nights in LA with VIP for at least a few...but no. I'm pissed, but not outraged. You have to expect Prince to pull crap like this.

Unless Prince proves otherwise...he should rename the tour:

Welcome 2 New York, California, North & South Carolina.

First of all he doesn't need them and secondly, they're "okay" as long as they do back up only. It kind sucks when they're singing 2-3 songs in a row and all he does is play guitar. I'm not paying almost 100 euro (over $140) to hear a cover band take up as much as 25% of the entire concert.

Didn't he just play ten dates in the Carolinas? I'd hope Atlanta fans took a little road trip up to see him. To be fair, though, the U.S. is more than twice the size of the European continent, and Americans aren't as used to hopping on a train from one major city to the next. An ideal tour would have taken him to AT LEAST California, Colorado, Florida, Texas, Illinois, Ohio, Tennessee and New York. But when does Prince do anything the way he's supposed to?
