Got them earlier in the day, really. On Craigslist. The person hit me back immediately saying he didn't know if someone was going with him until after 1pm. Then we met around 2:30 at In and Out in Hollywood/Studio City. Nice guys!!! Really nice actually, because they made my night.

Good luck. They went for $75/per ticket

He's had such a brilliant run at the forum. Having been fortunate enough to have been able to attend most of the shows, (plus one at the Troubadour and House of Blues) I'm looking forward to him ending this one in style. Predicting a very funky night!

oh fooey! I've been twice so far....and they were fine. But I could totally see them being crazy, especially if tonight is the last show.

I had a feeling tonight would be the last show...so when they went on sale a few weeks ago, I specifically only bought tickets for the 29th. Taking my 13yr old niece...her first concert and amazing one she can brag about when she gets older :_

Well, assuming 2 different Craigslist situations work out-- I'm in for tonight. smile (I'm going with someone from CL who found some awesome tix on CL for $75/each [loge, mid-level, normally the $180 tickets] from a guy who had them comped to him but he was leaving town...)

I'm a bit scared something will go wrong but I really really hope it works out and the person I'm going with isn't psycho! smile (well, at least not in a bad way wink-- I'm sure she's thinking the same of me!) I am totally totally psyched for this show.

Anyone know who is opening?

(Not looking forward to the bathroom situation though!)

bathroom situation was much better for the ladies since they let us use the women & men's restrooms. the lines were much more manageable than the 25 min wait from a few saturdays ago. guys get to use portapottys outside.

king is opening tonight.

@wearekingmusic

if you look on this other thread, there may be tix avail...

from jamistew: At the forum now. The line is about 50-70 deep. The line is moving but very slowly. Word is they are releasing purple pit for $25

Tonight will be the 11th of the 15 Forum gigs and I only expected to go to 4.

I'm relaxing and napping so I can leave about 7.

Taking a 1st timer who's a Springsteen/Dylan/Stones fan, but is fired up to go tonight since I've been informing him about Prince's twenty-blah residency.

I've gotten misty a couple of times today when I think of the time well-spent going to the shows. Getting to know the certain parts he does during the night and then all the special things he would throw in from time to time. There is just so much that happened since April 14th when I took my 1st timer cousin. It's just too much.

Getting to know some of the ticket scanners and the beer venders. I am a familiar face to them.

Since 1983, I had seen him 17 times and never in a small venue. May 11th, it happened at the first Troubadour show. Cool, I can now say I was there for the ihatephish stream which by the way I still haven't heard.

So now I'm up to 29 gigs and have to live with the fact that I may never get to 30 because Prince does his own calculus... lol

I'm glad that about 30 other family and friends were able to be in on this historical run and so were so many of you.

DANCE ON!

Here @ The Forum and I will take this as a good sign for a great night! Prince soundcheck was sublime and the song that has evaded me since opening night was rehearsed! The Beautiful Ones!!!! To say that I had a moment of elation would be putting it mildly. Get down here if you can because this show is gonna be CRAZY GOOD!

This was the type of jam I was hoping for to show up on setlists for this tour. I appreciated every minute of the 3 shows I went to- I still missed more oddities that I really thought would be played more on this tour, next tour I bet...

I feel the same- I thought the Bay area shows were going to get more rare jams on the setlists than turned out- I didn't even get to hear "Bambi", : (
