god damn it. sunday is gonna be kinda tough now. oh well, still confident we'll get in.
its gonna be sad not being able to just pull up tickets to see prince when we're bored on a thursday, friday, or saturday night. it'll be odd to just not have that option. spoiled is what we are. | |

Has anyone done the math and figured out how this adds up to "21 Nights"? If you count the 2 Troub shows and 3 HOB shows, I get 20 shows in 17 nights... ***

I keep hearing rumors he may move to another venue for a few more shows.
I had a ball. Went to 9 shows @ the forum, 1 show @ Troubadour, 2 shows @ HOB, and 1 aftershow (tonight, Nikka Costa played, no Prince--although I heard he came out and played drums for 30 seconds, but I didn't see him).
I've been blessed.

I kinda figured 21 NIGHTS meant each "night" not each "show".....if he counted the Troubadour and House of Blues that would count towards two of the twenty-one nights not five
I dunno. I guess its all gonna come down to semantics.
I gotta say though, my husband spoke to a very nice gentleman at the Forum box office yesterday and he confirmed that $25 tix would be very hard to come by for any of the Memorial Day weekend shows BUT this may not be the end and we should check online in a week or so for some possible additional shows | |

If the 21 is in shows, then he could do an aftershow. If it really is nights, as in 21 nights in London, he has more stuff to do in LA... Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry. | |

This was officially the 13th show of the 21 Nite Stand in Los Angeles residence. However shortly before this show it became clear the show on Sunday 29 May would be the last one, so alternately this counted as show #19 (counting shows in Fresno and San Jose, as well as the three House Of Blues Sunset Strip shows on 25 May as shows #13 - #18.
Yeah, makes no sense to me. And there's no way Fresno and San Jose should count towards 21 Nites in Los Angeles!!!! | |

If they're smart, what they're doing is giving the impression these are the last shows, thus driving up demand.
Then, once those shows are over, announce some more. I think he'll play more, because no matter how you slice it, he ain't at 21 yet.

Dr.Fukenberry also had people on a wild goose chase on the wrong night about two and a half weeks ago I don't have time to listen to new music, I've got too much old Prince to discover. Classic example : I was at club Nokia at the midnight show and didn't know "In a large room with no lights" . . . my bad Prince | |
