I am seriously considering attending all 3 concerts... However, I am a bit worried about my safety, especially because I would be travelling alone (for the first time actually) from Slovenia. How safe is Rotterdam?

If there is someone also going alone, and would prefer a travel buddy - contact me.

I don't think I can afford three days out at the moment, so I might try and repeat what I did for the Arras show last year. That was clockwork.

I left work (Cambridge) at 2pm, was at the eurotunnel for 4pm, through to france + hours time change and it was 6pm, I was at Arras for 7.15, Eaten and standing in the gold circle for 8.00. Show vinished 12.30, I was at Calais for 1.30am, straight on the tunnel, -1 hour time diff, I was back home in bead at Cambridge for 3am.

So I'm torn to wait for a Prince UK date (but it might come at a festival) or head to north sea where he is sure to do a set more interesting that the standard one.

The plan in my head is,

Leave Cambridge on Friday at 3pm, get to Dover at 5pm, ferry +1diff will make it 6.30pm at Calais. Drive up to Rotterdam for 10-10.30. In for Prince at 23.45, leave Rotterdam about 3am, be back at Calais for about 6am, ferry - 1 hour diff, I'll be in bed for a kip about 7.30am.

Hmmm.....so....tempting.....

It's in the summer so, yeah prices are very high, and tickets aren't cheap at all.

I hope for you guys he will come to UK. I think there is coming more European dates, not just Holland , and Poland. That's only 2 and that's not enough.

I think next week , we will hear more about other show(s)

I'm coming from Belgium (directio Antwerp) by car. What is the nearest "park and ride" parking where I can park my car? Is it interesting to park my car there and then use the subway to Ahoy?

there's a very nice parking NEXT to the Ahoy and Ahoy is conveniently situated near the Rotterdam ring-road. Should be no hassle to park there. slightly more expensive but o so convenient since the show will end REALLY late and there won't be any subways.....

Subway is operational til 3:30am on NSJF nights, but if you travel by car it's better to park at the Ahoy or nearby.

The ticket thing isn't very clear. Maybe its lost in translation.

If go one night and only want to see Prince, do i just need the 89 euro ticket or do i still need to buy another type of ticket on top? Or will there be another all inclusive ticket???

help!?

Update: Solved. I went to the ticket page itself and it was much clearer.

I think I will order my tickets on www.TicketDisaster.nl or on www.No-Ticketservice.nl

It has the same succes-rate as ticketsmaster.nl ......

Have a look at 'The W2A: Euro Tour Song Survey' http://prince.org/msg/12/362417

Well, i guess no one is getting tickets out of the system at this point! So, it can´t sell out... at least i hope so.

It is frustrating!!!!! To think other people might get all the tickets now and by the time I get through it is all sold out!!! No other way to get tickets right? Or then more expensive, I guess?
