I agree, it was a terrific show...I loved the energy from the crowd & Prince's as well. My highlights were Pop Life, Beyonce's Single Ladies (when the guy made an absolute fool of himself dancing on stage), Mountains/Shake Your Body to the Ground, & Prince kicking Kim Kardashian off stage for being so scared to dance on Controversy. I wasn't at all 6 shows to determine which was best, but I loved the ones I went to & I hope everyone enjoyed their experiences as well. We will never see the likes of that man again...

The show was ok IMO 1/18 was still the best show I think I've seen too many shows the songs became predictable best part for me was hearing the first verses of SOT, Alphabet St., Pop Life and he sang Mountains!! And I never get sick of If I Was Your Girlfriend one cool thing ?uestlove played drums with John Blackwell

TOMEEBOY

HIGHLIGHTS:

CEELO playing full version of "When U Were Mine"

LAYDOWN OPENING

DEDICATING NOTHING COMPARES 2u TO Bobby Z Prince said

" A lot of people helped me along the way, Bobby was one of them Recover soon Bobby"

Medley portion...Prince was very into the crowd. Unlike last time...Prince teases us with the songs but actually responded to the crowds reaction and played the ones that got the big reaction...He:

Sang one full verse of Sign of the Times

One full verse of Alphabet Street

Two full verses of I would Die 4U

Two Full verses of Pop Life

First verse of When Doves Cry

Started Forever in My Life...but stopped (didnt get strong reaction)

Played "Single Ladies by Beyonce for two minutes while some guy picked from the crowd made a fool of himself dancing...Prince got a kick out of him.

MOUNTAINS...full version with Shake Your Body Down too the Ground

Most importantly he said the following:" DONT WORRY NEW YORK, WE'LL BE BACK SOON...I LOVE IT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great show!

I loved seeing Kim Kardashian getting kicked off stage. That cum bucket was such a dead fish up there. Then then she got up there again during the group dance. And instead of having fun on stage with Prince, she uses the opportunity to take photos with her friends. What kind of whore bag does this?

Anyone notice the teleprompters during Cee -Lo's set? Had only one message the whole show.

NO F WORD!!!!!!

I think he slipped up and said shit during "Fuck You" and apoligized to Prince for it.

Great opening set. I LOOOOOVE When U Were Mine, so it really was nice to hear Cee-Lo do a spot on version of it.

Anyone notice that during Cee Lo's set, the teleprompters read, "NO F WORD"?

A stage hand even got up and told him, "No F word."

All I wanna know is, how big is the stick up Prince's ass for him to do this to fellow musicians? I'm just glad the audience yelled out a few big "FUCK YOU's" when he called on them.

Great show Prince, but FUCK YOU! wink

The setlist was mostly hits again, true, but that meant the crowd was more into the songs. Jan. 18th had a better setlist, but that crowd was weak. Tonight there was lots of energy all around. Prince really put his all into tonight's show. I nearly died when he opened the third encore with "Mountains".

Who was the harmonica player?

Quarterpiece

It was just great. Chris Rock was cool during love bizarre. Sang then tossed the mic back to him. Misty was graceful and great. Questlove did his thing. The suprise feature of the night to me was the guy on the harmonica. great addition. Wow he could blow. The encores were great. Purple rain was out of the way real quick. Track 77 aka lay it down was great to start off. He played dreamer which I absolutely love. I am so glad he said they'll be back soon hopefully not to soon. Give my wallet a rest. I've been to too many shows but its worth it but expensive. Prince, thanks for being a real musician.

HOLY MUTHERFUCKING SHIT!

That dude did MOUNTAINS! I heard the opening of the song and damn near DIED! Y'all don't even KNOW. Mountains is my ISH and I've been hoping and praying he would do it at this show since it was gonna be the last one. I wish I knew that dude so I could thank him personally for making my millennium!

I barely remember the rest of the setlist, but I do know I was fully expecting him to pull out the wrap it up box at 10pm and that dude KEPT going! It was so awesome! I am so glad I didn't hem and haw about buying a ticket for this show because I'm so glad I went.

I shoulda hung around with my fellow orgers to see if we could get into Darby, but I knew I didn't have $200 for that AND wasn't all that chuffed about standing in the cold and rain. Hope someone gets in and tells us all about it.

In the meantime that concert was more than enough for me, I had a blast. My only gripe is the whole "bring celebrities on stage" thing. I've never liked it, I think it kinda kills the vibe of the show. No one cares about these people! No one cares about Kim Kardashian. At least I don't. No one cares that Chris Rock was there. So what? And Steven Hill AGAIN and Questlove AGAIN. It feels so EXclusive instead of INclusive, like some elite club you're not a member of and you're just kinda sitting around watching them all have an onstage meeting abt how good it is to have lives like theirs where they get to do things like go up on stage and dance with Prince like every weekend. Ain't nobody pay to see those two on stage, we paid to see Prince and his band so really he's the only one I wanna see up there.

I'm happy. I'm GOOD. I've got video. I'd post them on youtube but they'd just get taken down anyway.

I KNEW as soon as Cee Lo was announced that he wasn't gonna be doing the explicit version of that song. Prince doesn't get with that. For a hot second I was like well Prince censors himself, maybe he won't be like that with other artists but clearly I was wrong. I'm sure tho that Cee Lo thought that singing the clean version was a small price to pay for opening for and performing with Prince. It's not like everyone doesn't already know the lyrics.

He did Bright Lights Bigger City too, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that song!

this show tonight was more of the "party" atmosphere, and that was pretty evident right away. i did think something didnt sound right with Laydown, like there was something about it they just didnt get in sync, but that's just me. 1999, well, wish he would drop this one from the set, just is a bit cheesy for me. always nice to hear the revamped version of Little Red Corvette- he seemed to extend the improv and "slow-down" later part of the song. it was great when he brought Kim Kardashian on the stage to dance with him, she just stood there absolutely still. it wasnt one or two seconds later he told her to get off the stage !!! and did anyone else notice during Dreamer, when he sang the Welcome 2 America part, he said "where a girl(or someone??) can get famous for doing absolutely nothing" !!! funny dig at her. Purple Rain was very strange to hear so early in the set- i think he was already playing it at 9:10 pm. all in all, this show was more predictable as far as the set, but the energy level was through the roof. best crowd out of all the msg shows i'm pretty sure. we showed him the love and he knew it. he said" we're coming back very soon- it won't be long. i love playing here". (sounds like the tour will be continuing in NYC !!!!). the set did not have the "surprise" factor that the 1/18 show had as far as hearing songs you didnt expect to hear, so for me, 1/18 was more enjoyable. but Prince delivered a HIGH-energy show and it was a nice ending for the run in NYC. like he said, have to leave it or a high note. this crowd was not lame, people were standing and dancing all night, NYC represented. now let's get working on really shaking up that setlist........!!!!!

Thats cold calling that girl a "cum bucket". How did he tell her to get of stage during Controversy? Then you said she got up there again..."And instead of having fun on stage with Prince, she uses the opportunity to take photos with her friends". eek razz eek Really???

I think Prince should have started playing "Hide the Bone" and proceded with a demonstration!!! lol razz

I agree with these impressions. 1/18 was full of surprises. Tonight more energy, however, there were a couple big surprises tonight, especially Mountains. That was unreal. Also I would die 4 U and Pop Life were nice surprises since they have not been done on this tour. Ending with covers was kind of weak, but the crowd seemed into it so I won't complain too much.

I had a great time. I loved my seats- I had an EXTREMELY hard time taking any pics during his gold outfit time..The security was super tight and I got nothing. Not just me but most near me in my section. Could not believe. Once they switched guards it was fine though...I just have a crappy camera so I don't know how the pics look yet.

I had a great time, as always...Lots of people if my section to see (celebrity wise)...The energy and crowd was 'better' this time, but for some reason if I had to compare there was still something about the 1/18 show that just rocked it a notch higher...(Agree with PAchoas and CrazyL)..However, either way i loved the show.

Liked CeeLo and their song together...

Don't like the sound at MSG..

Still wonder why we have to call up the Kim K's in the crowd..

Had an excellent time though and very happy to have gone again and great seats!.
