How long is a show?

I heard Cubby (ktu) say over and over 90mins. Is that true? Could he possibly go longer than that? I do hope so!

If it starts around 7 30 or 8. It will probably go on til like 11 30 roughly.

Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

My guess for this Saturday's show:

7:30 Larry Graham

8:30 Sinbad

9pm-11pm Prince

This is only a guess. If you have an opening act/band, you can cover the instrument change time with a comedian.

Prince will likely play for close to 2 hours. 90 minutes would be short. That's what he was doing for his short Las Vegas "lounge act" shows. It could easy go over 2 hours, too.

Thanks so much. I knew that 90 min thing had to be wrong. I'm guessing also has advised these venues that he is likely to play long sets. So, probrablly they will let him have his way and allow him to play into the wee hours of the night....But then again, that's what the after show is for.

So get there at 8:30.

The Prince set will be, as always 2 hours, plus or minus 10 minutes.

If thats right I pray that Larry Graham wont be an hour long...neutral

When you play at a big venue...All shows have a 12 midnight curfew..meaning the show has to end before midnight. If it does not end...the performer is "fined" a substancial amount of $. look for the opening act to get on the stage close to ticket time to allow Prince to play till 1130/1145. Then the aftershow will start around 2ish.

Really, it must be different here on the west coast. All the shows I go to end by 11 pm. Only Guns N' Roses are foolish enough to play past that, Axl usually does not come on until almost 11.

I am sorry to hear that. I have seen Guns N' Roses 6 times, 3 times with Slash and 3 times with the new lineup. I had tickets for 3 other shows through the years but they were cancelled. Axl has the most incredible voice I have ever heard live.

I'm pretty sure that MSG's curfew is 11. Kind of bummed about that, since I know Prince tends to play for a long time. Hopefully, he goes on early!!!!! I can't wait!!!! Enjoy the show everyone! I've never been to an after show--that would be the icing on the cake. Thanks purplemooliebut for all of the twitter info. I hope I can find out where he might play!!!
