Prince must be having so much fun about the Dutch Aftershow obsession. Would be fun if we could get it on the news tonight.....

To everybody who can be there tonight: reply When he asks 2night:

Who knows about the quake?

YOU DO!!!

poke falloff hah! stirthepot clueless giggle

HUH?! Ik zing altijd WE DO!!!!!hmmm

WE DO

YOU DO

I mean really?

Who knows about the quake?

Only Prince knows......really

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

3fm (sponsor of Gelredome show) dj - Giel Beelen rumored Prince should have reserved :

Paradiso (Amsterdam) ; Tivoli (Utrecht) ; and Effenaar (Eindhoven) for possible Aftershow.

I didn't check their programming, only other program between 02:00 and 04:00 at night will exclude a venue as possibility.

Paradiso has Noodlanding tonight, so we only have to kick the djs off stage biggrin

http://muziek.nieuws.nl/6...n_paradiso

(oeps sorry... JorsDePauper already mentioned this article...)

Well... it's 8.20 pm now... I don't think there will be an aftershow tonight..

Dutch news TWEETS and others going crazy. But there is a good reason for no show. Apparently prince is attending john Blackwell's father's funeral.

Oh Man I was so happy to see he in the show, had feared he would'n't come, but he was hear and he was BRILLIANT. All my respect to him for being there heart What integrity and compassion for him to be able to play his heart out like he did tonight in all this sad time. What a man, what a concert, PRINCE WAS ON FIRE.....I'm never gonna sleep I have to write a party report NOW!

ps. People are still sending rumours about Paradiso aftershow but I believe that the ones that it's not going down are correct. John has waited long enough surely and wants to get home.

What a show!!

I liked the 'opening act' kinda way he opened! a first 45 minutes with all the lights on. Then off the stage. Lights out and a GREAT Prince show.

2 Bad the technical guys did't do their best job:

Prince keeped asking for lights off (or onn) without responce from the light-guy

And what the fuck was going on with all te windows-pop-ups on the screens?

At the start Prince didn't seemed to be happy about his guitar/sound or something?

WHAT A SHOW! It is one of the best I've seen (and I have seen many since 1987). If this is the upbeat for the USA show then you are in for a treat on the other side of the big pond!

I liked it that Prince did his own pre-show. I came in a bit late and he already had started. This sound wasn't that great but man... already I was in to it. When the actual show started, I was dancing and swingen all the way 'till the end.

One point of criticism: the organisation in Arnhem was completely worthless. We had to park outside Arnhem and take a bus to the stadium. The qua to get onto the parking lot was soo long that we were late for the beginning of the show. When the show was over we had to wait for an hours before the bus came that took us back. But nothing could ruine the buzz I had of the concert....

My advise to everybody in the US of A. Go and see him. He is still the number 1 performer.

This is the life. Everyone has to be somewhere, I am here...........

You shouldn't have followed the signs, they take you miles away from the stadium. You could park in front of the stadium, I and lots of people did. The only problem was getting off the parking lot afterwards, specially if you try to hurry to a possible aftershow location.

My parking experience was different: free parking within walking distance of the venue and no bus, no queue or whatever for entering or leaving.
So I will not call this bullshit but advise to do some research and/or travel early.

I know now you are right. Next concert I'll just drive up to the front door and see if I can park there. biggrin I'll never listen to the directions of the organisers again!
