Does anyone have the setlist for the aftershow at Amager Bio in Copenhagen?

Amazing show and lasted about 3 hours! So glad he played Partyman, as it used to be one of my favorites when it came out, and I didn't think I'd ever hear it live. smile

Amazing show. He did a few of old funk/soul-songs, that I had never heard before.

Sticky like glue was very, very good. I don't understand why he doesn't do it in the ordinary concert, since it's a good song and he does it even better live.

I say no one, no one in the world can do what Prince does live. I feel very grateful to follow Prince musical paths - he's just all music. There's nothing he cannot do with his guitar, there's no groove he can't play and there's no party he can't funk.

During the Amager-show he wore sunglasses most of the time, the last 20 minutes they got off. He did a lot of extras, the audience screamed and clapped him in many times, and everytime he got out he had a new groove coming. So many different grooves that it really astonished me.

Did I miss anything?

He started at 2:45 or so if I recall.

And by 6 I was at the hotel?

I believe it was closer to 2 hours in length.

Same for Act of God (album version).

Done in the soundchecks for e.g. Nice and Bergen.

Still he doesn't play it! Or he just sings it over the loop of Forever in my Life.

In Bergen he even played the rhythm of Act of God on his guitar (for a short while, over the Forever in my Life loop) before starting to sing Forever in my Life...

He started 2:45 and ended 5.30. If you take away the time he didnt play when the audience was shouting him in, the conert was about 2:30.

Dude

The concert was from 02.45 - 04.45... and take away the time he was off-stage I would say that he played approx 1 hour 40 min...

My wrong there. He ended around 4.30 as i recall. Could have been 4.45. And he was off stage a few times quite a while. So I agree with 1 hour 40 min time while he played.

That's exactly what swept me off my feet at the Vienna show in July. It was my first Prince concert after 17 years and it was almost like a completely new experience!! It's just amazing how versatile he is and what different styles of music he plays in just one concert. And each style sounds as if it was "his own", if you know what I mean. - That's why he really is the best live performer, because no one else does that (certainly not to that perfection)!!

But you did hit the jackport, sort of, by visiting the Vienna show which flowed and worked really well, just like the Berlin show. (at least for me these shows were different in these regards)

It is the same difference as between the recent Bergen show (good) and the Kopenhagen show which had higher energy levels as far as I could discern.

Enjoy!
