Surely $20.10 is not the price for all the seats in the arena. I wonder how much more the floor seats are if infact they are different prices.

chill..prince doesnt like men being front row, makes it hard to sing the ballads

I just checked Tickmaster. The tixx aren't on sale yet but they always have price ranges in the upper right hand corner of the sale page. The MSG dates aren't up yet, but the Izod Center dates have a price range of 56.25 to 173.00 I don't know where them 20.10 tickets are, unless they are for MSG dates only.

I saw that too, but then the price range disappeared, and then all the info was taken down. Is Prince still negotiating prices?

From that link - So at least there will be some less expensive tickets. I gather the more expensive tickets will be floor and lower levels. I'm surprised there's no shows for Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, NY. But ya never know, could be one added later on.

Tickets go on sale on Saturday. Visit livenation.com, or call (800) 745.3000. Prince is promising that there'll be $20 seats at these shows, but he doesn't say where they'll be;

Yes, VIP 1 year membership for $595.00. No guarantee on where seats are located only an opprotunity for "presale". That's a lot of coin for a maybe premium seat. Still think orgers will see something special from P. He usually sends us something, I would keep posted as I am sure most have! Most of us who ate the Lotusflow3r will hopefully see some redemption. Miss those NPG daze..spoiled we were and we loved it!!!!!!lol

I found a article that shows the dates & the concerts full meaning:

New York -- U.S. pop icon Prince says he plans to bring his Welcome 2 America concert to the New York area in December.

After 21 nights of sold-out shows in London, Prince is to make his first return to the East Coast since 2004, his representatives said Tuesday.

The singer is expected to be joined by various performers including Maceo Parker, Janelle Monae, Mint Condition, Esperanza Spalding, Cassandra Wilson, Sinbad, Lalah Hathaway, Sheila E. and Graham Central Station.

As part of the live events, Prince will play a solid gold Fender Custom Stratocaster guitar created by Senior Master Builder Yuriy Shishkov.

At the end of the run, the guitar will be auctioned off to benefit the Harlem Children's Zone, a community- based organization serving more than 17,000 children living in Harlem, N.Y.

Prince will kick off his East Coast tour with shows at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J., Dec. 14, 15 and 17. He will then perform at New York's Madison Square Garden Dec. 18 and 29.

Tickets are to go on sale Saturday.

I have been checking Ticketmaster & LiveNation, and both had listed Prince under "My Favorites" who had shows locally. When I checked an hour later, Prince had been removed from the "My Favorites" list.

Both sites keep changing the information. pout

Am I the only one thinking $179.00 is a lil steep for this time of year? Especially without a guarantee of which artist are performing on specific nights? Hopefully by this weekend there'll be a little more information posted as far as who's scheduled for each night (I'd really like to see Janelle again). Oh how I miss the good old days of NPGMC - you gotta admit that Prince really did come through with prime seating for club members.

I really think there will be more dates added or there will be other cities added because there is simply not room on five nights for all of supporting acts he named. Even if one opened the concert and one did an after show, it doesn't make sense.

I think the VIP tickets on Livenation.com are for Citi card holders. I have a Citi card so I checked their site for a pre-sale... nothing. I'll keep checking though. I'm not a snob but those pre-sales were just the best!

I totally agree DaisyHall, 179.00 or 173.00 is a LITTLE steep - especially before Christmas. I'll probably pay it though if it means a great seat. I must be getting old in that I used, "probably".
