10th of July Prince and Erykah just 30miles away.... Now wait a moment. Mint condition and Larry Graham playin support, then Prince in Werchter BEL and Erykah Badu is doing a gig on the SAME night in Liege BEL and that`s only approx. 30miles away....

I respect you Udo, and i know you`re a hardcore fan for a long time, but what you said doesn`t make any sense. I am most certainly not the only one who wants to see both of the shows, or do you think i am? Apart from that : if you didn`t know yet, you do now : they are HUGE fans of each others work and they have shared the stage not just once or twice. Also, apart from that : i still respect you, i just don`t agree. Cool?

Well, It is not disagreeing or saying no, but I was asking for info. You essentially say that they have an artistic interest in each other. Now if they are both aware of each others' location and P does an aftergig, then yes, it might be possible.... Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... In Geneva / Montreux they are back to back again. Erykah is in Montreaux on the 11th and prince in Geneva on the 12th (And i go see both Another point: Janelle Monae is in Lieg just a day before on the 9th. She is an amazing if you have not checked her up yet and she is one of princes favorites of the last year (according to papers and rumours) I wish there was a bases for hope for any of these collaborations but I so doubt it. With such a busy schedule, any of you believe there is going to be an after party at all ? I doubt it .... Go check out Janelle she is wicked !! wish I could be in montreux for her as well ... B

i dont know if this has something to do with showing interest but if i remember right there were a line in "mellow" from TRC where prince mentioned her... ..erykah and common where there.. or something like that..

Yes she played at the celebration that year & P joined her onstage for a couple songs on guitar. Man that seems like forever ago.. Janelle Monae has been opening for Badu here in the states. [Edited 6/18/10 14:00pm] |
