Prince kommt am 5. Juli zum einzigen Deutschland-Konzert

Samstag, 29. Mai 2010, 12:36

Berlin.

Anybody from Berlin could help me out on organisational aspects?
like: how long from Berlin Tegel airport to the stadium?

Also anybody knows at what time the show is scheduled?
Thank you!!

It takes about 30-40 mins from the airport.
Take bus 109 from the airport and get off at the stop Charlottenburg.
There you take S-Bahn 3 or 75 (direction Spandau) and get off at Pichelsberg.

I can find one in yours too! lol
Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

We have got tickets! All went very smooth compared to Werchter. Maybe because of ticket price as 'front row' tickets are EUR 155.....

Am I right in thinking that there are 3 different seating sections at 3 diff prices but that you dont get an allocated seat/row number? If this is the case then top price 155 euro is very expensive tkt when its still general admission in that large front section (i've seen the seating plan). It means to try and get as close to the stage as possible you're gonna have to start lining up outside the stadium the day before!! At that price I want to walk in feeling fresh but excited and stroll to my reserved, allocated seat, get drinks and a pre show meal and more drinks and snacks served to me at my seat by The Twinz and if they're xpecting a tip forget it. lol

I thought the delivery charges were excessive. Didn't see any other option but to have them sent by post. Wot, no e-tix?!

Just ordered four front row tix. The front row section at the Waldbühne is small, so you don´t have to go hours before the concert. It´s a great location when the weather is fine... I´ll take my daughter with me ( 11 years ), it´s her birthday present. But prince the absolutely the last concert I´m willing to spend 155€ for a ticket.

Does not look like that. The middle section in front of the stage seems to be standing only. The other seats in the EUR 155 category are seated but according to the free seating principle.

I guess it is a matter of being there early to end up front row standing or having a good seat in the seated section.

If you are unlucky and you end up in the back of the EUR 155 category you would be better off buying a EUR 86 ticket. Nearly the same view for almost half the price... confused

You can choose Innenraum-Stehplatz at the eventim website which will be the Front of Stage ones.
Here's a photo of the Waldbühne. Front of stage does not look too big:
