It's cold here.

So probably something warm.

I will probably be wearing jeans and a sweater and sensible shoes. I'm old and lame like that these days. lol

OK, maybe not jeans. But definitely dressed for the weather and on the casual side.

lol I am old and lame now, too, so jeans and comfortable boots for me. Haven't decided on the top yet, though. It's likely I'll be outside for awhile so I definitely have to be more practical

I was kind of curious about how dressy people are planning to get, although I know from prior Paisley visits that the spectrum is pretty wide in terms of what people wear. I've seen some....'interesting' outfits out there!

Thanks for responding to my thread. smile

nod I agree about going for comfy and warm. Having a good time is a lot easier when your feet don't hurt and your teeth aren't chattering! smile

I do know what you mean about getting too warm. Especially if there will be lots of warm bodies crammed into Paisley. Maybe wear a tank top or camisole underneath a cardigan? That way you can take off and put on the sweater as need be.

I'm not a LF member, so I have to stand in line for a door ticket. sad I have health considerations to take into account, so standing outside for hours isn't a good idea, so I'm leaning towards staying positive and heading over to PP around 10 and just hoping and praying that it's in the cards for me to get in.

well i just don't want to wear a huge bulky sweater and a coat for standing outside then sweat to death from being overlayed once i get inside.

i wish you the best of luck smile i really hope you are able to make it!

Did you see that good suggestion on another thread about wearing a coat (or multiple coats even) outside while waiting, and then when you get inside donating it/them to the coat drive? That way you don't have to worry about lugging a coat around once inside Paisley AND you've helped out the charity effort! smile You'd have to have an extra coat lying around you're willing to donate, though, and not mind the little while of being coatless and cold when the show's over..

Thank you for the good luck wishes on getting in. I appreciate it. smile

Awesome! smile But my friend was planning on wearing that. How awkward when the two of you see you've shown up in the same outfit. sad

It might be rainy tomorrow, so don't use the cheap paper towels that fall apart when they get wet. Use Bounty. Then you can use your outfit to scrub your bathtub on Sunday.

The fact that I don't intend to stand in the cold for hours just to have my nose on the edge of the stage makes things somewhat easier. lol

I'm still mulling the wardrobe. I do know that I will start off with a full-length, powder blue down coat (awful color, but it's been my campfire coat) that I will donate. I'm going to carry a red-and-black stadium blanket (that I can use to sit on the floor if I want) in a carrier, and strap a shorter down coat in there for later.

The main outfit will probably be a black faux suede steampunk jacket with a silk ruffle-front blouse in a black, purple and white floral print with jeans and a pair of black Geox patent-and-suede heeled sneakers.

Or I may do something different and do a lavender faux suede top with a matching Willy Wonka tophat.

I was hoping to pack light, but that may not happen. redface lol
