KEEP THE FAITH returns to one of it's fave London clubs - arguable the best club in South London - The Whitehouse, Clapham, SW4.
Launching a new fortnightly event "ECLECTRIC SOUL". The Launch event is also KEEP THE FAITH Events Organisation's 2nd Birthday - so BIG THANKS to all the KEEP THE FAITHFUL who have kept our events alive in London town these past 2 years!

On KEEP THE FAITH ~ ECLECTRIC SOUL you can rely on the musical integrity, quality and specialist knowledge you have come to expect from KEEP THE FAITH from our other events such as GROOVE LINEAGE, UKSOULJAM, LOVE FOR LOST SOUL, SOUNDCLASH, ECLECTICSOULCITY to name a few....

Resident KEEP THE FAITH DJs Paul Aaaron & DJ Kay will be leading proceedings each session. We pride ourselves on connecting with our crowd - for us this really is all about the music - not the DJs - and yes we WILL play requests if we have them at off peak times & believe that as DJs our sets are a conversation between the DJs & the crowd.
Paul Aaaron's radio shows as heard on Warrior FM, Upfront FM & House FM, London + Arts & Roots radio in LA, USA hosting legends such as James Brown, MAW, Gwen McCrae, Eric Roberson, Anthony David, Mark Murphy,Milton Nascimento, Azymuth & Joyce to name a few. In addition to musician and production work with many greats + press and commentary work for Mags, TV and Radio in addition to creating events such as UKSoulJam the original UKSOUL show @Jazz Cafe. & creator / CEO of Warrior FM (panelists on the Soul Music Summit in Atlanta, USA). The infamous 'PA Samba' live percussion & guitar licks WILL be live on each event - friendly duels (Tito Puente style;) ) from clubbers who can play (in time!) are always accepted!!
DJ Kay has held down radio shows on stations such as Inner City FM. In addition to work on UKSOULJAM, FUTURE & other Keep The Faith events DJ Kay is also a talented music producer in his own right which adds to the enthusiasm and determination & push of our new Producers Showcase & spotlight.

We have a few surprises up our sleaves inc. some performances already booked by USA Neo Soul artists.

Holding things down with KTF residents Paul Aaaron & DJ Kay we also have as monthly residents MAN VS WIFE of the RECLAIM THE SOUL Satay Bar, Brixton & AMPLIFIED 'MAHOGANY' nights who bring musical values that stand firm.
ECLECTRIC SOUL has the London SOUL community atmosphere of UKSOULJAM & the informal laid back feel of GROOVE LINEAGE which currently brings a regular feel-good free-entry session to the North London areas - with pleasure we look forward to providing good vibes & good grooves for our South London family once again too.
KTF is commited to bringing quality events South of the river where many of our regulars hale from, but currently regular quality events seem thin on the ground. which makes it all the more timely our return to this spacious and friendly club in which we've had some great KTF parties over the years as clubbers, DJs, performers & events organisers.

FOOD OFFERS & ROOF GARDEN:
The Whitehouse also has a great specialist restaurant serving pan Asian cuisine. There will be 50% off all food on Thursdays when these events take place. The Whitehouse has 2 floors inc.a roof garden.


PRODUCERS SHOWCASE:
This event will also feature a new feature from KEEP THE FAITH.
KTF will be showcasing Local LONDON producers work at this new event We will be showcasing 6 producers in each show - each producer will bring a CDR of their new production & it will be played on the event - it will be on a first come first serve basis - please email for more info to: keepthefaithful@gmail.com We will also feature 1 producer of note on each event - this could be anyone from Quincy Jones to J Dilla. KTF are committed to pushing new talent and music.

as the purple spirit (often) takes me - i could not help doing 4 prince songs in a row at one point! - dont be surprised if that happens again - cause its a reg occurance - and the crowd loved it and reciprocated in coming with yet more Prince requests - very good considering this wasnt / isnt a specific Prince themed night

DMSR? - THE ARTIST KNOWN AS ADELAIDE DAMOAH & KTF in SW4...

The Artist Adelaide Damoah who is best known for her 2006 Exhibition; "Black Brits" will unveil her latest collection entitled "Black Lipstick" in August 2008. Deemed "too sexually explicit" to be shown at the Bernie Grant Centre for more than one night. However - the good news is this collection of oil paintings will be exhibited @ The 24/7 Art House186, Clapham Park Road, London SW4 7DU.

The exhibition preview will take place on the 28th August 2008 6pm to 9pm, which will be the opening night and will run through to the 28th September 2008, at the 24/7 art house in Clapham Park Road, Clapham Common. Subsequent Thursdays will be open studio, all other days will be private view by appointment only.
Keep The Faith have long been fans of Adelaide's work, and with pleasure we shall host the after party for this opening night on Thurs 28th Aug at The Whitehouse also in Clapham Park Rd, SW4 as part of our ECLECTRIC SOUL party which on that occasion also has a live performance from Rogiers - vocalist with Platinum Pied Pipers & Fibby Music.
