Apparently Annie thought I had more than 10 pints of Guinness. Seeing as I'd also had three at lunch time I was doing rather well I thought. How I didn't fall down the bloody stairs in Sin I have no idea! [/edit]

i made it there in the end too. hehe. fun night. and yeah, like someone else said, the band had no right to be that good, hands up, i was expecting a silly novelty act.

i got a photo of the set list and a few others that i'll post up when i get them uploaded. also got some godawful phone camera video footage that's not worth bothering with tbh.

didn't smell the farts though, lucky me

purple rain - sorry we missed u in dublin. any chance of playing in brighton (sussex) in the future? pleeeeeze x

Yes, I also just got home! When I heard about that tribute band playing I was a bit weary about it... first of all going to Dublin to see Prince and ending up seeing a tribute band instead and secondly a tribute band trying to sound like Prince! So I initially went to see Iggy Pop, who also did an outdoor gig! When I was on the way back I kinda walked by the SIN club and since a friend was already in, I went in there too... and to my surprise Purple Rain were great! Those guys and girl did a great job and it almost felt like an aftershow (in regards to closeness and the mood of the people)! So we really had a great night after all!
