had a brillant night the tribute band was excellant !!! neverly as good as the real thing!!! danced for hours thanks to everyone who organised it pity the big tree wasnt as sucessful enjoyed the purple rain cocktails though . ps were was all the advervisting for prince i never seen one poster yet they should of been everywhere like what was in london .

Hi Thanks Purple Rain and organisers.
I had a great night even when I got my toe stood on and it bled all over the floor I didn't notice until someone told me. Also when we were through in the lounge area just listening (as I couldn't dance anymore) a couple thought the DJ was playing all Prince records they did not realise it was live music until we told them. Then they went and joined in!!!!!
Well done it made the trip worth while as well as the shopping.

Apparently Annie thought I had more than 10 pints of Guinness. Seeing as I'd also had three at lunch time I was doing rather well I thought. How I didn't fall down the bloody stairs in Sin I have no idea! [/edit]

Just want to say thak you to Barbarella and co for organising what was fantastic night.

Purple Rain - you were fantastic. My sister and I landed in Dublin with heavy hearts and expecting a mediocre purple copy - we were wrong.

Jimi, Jacqui and the band rocked. Despite the tiny stage they buoyed our spirits with all the fantastic oldies (even P doesn't play some of those any more!) and some brilliant new ones.

The drummer told us they only learnt 'The Beautiful Ones' last Thursday! You would never have known it - it rocked!

Wow - what a night. We were well and truly cheered up. The atmosphere was great and the hits kept coming.

Thank u to the band for being amazing and to everyone that organised it for a brilliant night.

Totally echo everyone's comments, what a great night out! It's all been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster... the excitement and anticipation for months, the indescribable disappointment last week, the agony of driving past an empty Croke Park, then back to excitement and anticipation as the mood in Sin built up waiting for Purple Rain and then a really fantastic party!

The crowd were brilliant, we danced for hours, and we really loved the dirty ones Prince won't play anymore!

Thanks band you saved our week, and thanks organisers for the amazing speed and perfect back up solution!

It certainly was a very nice gig, thanks to all involved in making it happen. The band's got potential and can play.

A big thank you to the band and all the brilliant people i met. What a really good night, great atmosphere. I was there with my brother and I was starting to feel the worse for wear after all the Guinness and Champagne but I survived until about 3am and then I had to knock it on the head.
Once again, thank you all for a great evening.

I must admit i wasn't relly looking forward to going to Dublin when i heard the concert had been cancelled, driving past croke park on the coach, moping around dublin during the day time drowning my sorrows with guiness, but we thought we would give the sin bar a go. We have a great time, people were all very friendly, band were amazing, nice to have a good moan with other p fans about cacelation, just wished i hadn't drunk so much though! thanks purple rain for cheering us up.

We had an absolutely amazing night playing for you guys..what an atmosphere!! Best crowd we have ever played for! It was a real privelige & we totally felt the love!!!!

It was brilliant to meet so many of you..everyone was so lovely..hopefully we'll see a lot more of you at our shows around the UK!

If anybody has pictures/video, I'd love to get hold of as much as possible to put up when our website goes live.
