Prince might have let us all down and bailed out but, from what i've heard, the Irish know how to have a party. So, would it not be likely that at least somewhere will know there are going to be a lot of unhappy fans in Dublin, and cash in on it? Somewhere is surely going to play some Prince music, it's a no brainer for a great night. so please, if anyone hears of anywhere good to go, let me know. i'm annoyed now, but i know im gonna want a prince fix when im over there!

Well myself and my partner are having a civil partnership here in Edinburgh in July. But we were both going to be back in Ireland next week and I was going to the concert with my Prince freak fan friend and he was catching up with his family that he has not seen in a while. So since that is off I have arranged for as many of my friends in Dublin to meet me and my intended for our impromptu stag night on the tuesday.

We are going to go on a mental one. By the time I have stopped partying I will not even remember or care who Prince is.

Thanks to all my friends especially Lisa for putting my night together at such a short notice.

Mayb I should bring "Glam Slam" with me from Norway. I guess most of the members of this tributeband was coming over to the concert in Dublin anyway. They play really well. They prob do Face Down 4 us

Barbarella has posted elsewhere that Sin is flying Purple Rain out. Theyve booked them to play from 9pm at Sin and then exclsuive prince tracks via DJ after that. Purple cocktails etc so bring the balloons you bought etc and wear yer glad rags.

Hey it was ME 'n' PerrG that has got all this together all in the space of 36hrs from having the idea!! We felt that we should try and do something to try and lift a little of the sadness and dissapointment we were all united in feeling so we rang round to see what we could arrange and its just gone from strength to strength. and i think we may accieve our original goal!! so if everybody comes away a little bit happier then it will have been worth all the begging/borrowing and demanding!!!!!
