Aalborg might have been bad (even though I doubt, how can any Prince concert be bad?? smile ).. First of all at the Copenhagen concert, he said we shouldn't believe/care about the newspapers, he knew he had a funky time and we did as well, so we shouldnt believe in the newspaper only what we had experianced! Secondly, Aalborg might have sucked (thought I still doubt), but the copenhagen show was more than amazing!!

I would just like to say that the reviewer is way off base especially the guy who wrote for BT (big danish newspaper). When you read the review you can clearly tell that what he knows about prince is Purple Rain and maybe the chorus to Diamonds and Pearls in other words he knows nothing about the artist he is reviewing this is VERY clear in his review. His biggest burp is that there wasn't enought "hits" played... first of all what kind of critisism is that? Did you come to hear great music and experience what true musicians can make you feel when they go on stage? Or did you come for a karaoke night? Either way you got it, if that reviewer didn't recognize the songs Prince played he shouldn't have been there in the first place. Sure TRC and ONA songs are NEW and what did he expect? That Prince would NOT play songs from here? If you look at the setlist posted from Aalborg you will see how moronic his statement is about not enough hits being played.

To every one here, the concert rocked it was just incredible and nothing short of that! Prince was playful, energitic and performing brilliant. Next to my daughter being born I have no problem saying that it was the greatest experience of my life and not just because it was Prince but because on this tour (I suppose it's like that everywhere) he is playing music the one else can, they all want to but that just "can't touch this". Screw the two bad danish reviews, and for your information the "state" newpaper Nordjyske gave the concert 5/6 stars.

Those two reviewers probably didn't even wanna be there, because it was obvious that they knew/know nothing of his music not the past nor the present... sad sad people. I have talked to 10-12 ppl from the Aalborg concert and we all agree it was amazing. I even heard a 52 year old woman on the radio commenting on the concert the next day, she said she had never experienced music on this kind of level.
I'm rambling on sorry but those reviews are just so much off base and I hope that ppl here believe me when I say that... has ANYONE from the concert in Aalborg had any burps here?...

Dude

Those reporters should have been to the greatest hits tour in the US instead. Thank God I witnessed the Aalborg experience, because it was incredible. Prince was fantastic, and the show was unforgettable.

Perhaps they should be the ones to look beyond
their UNIVERSE, and RESPECT, and ACCEPT,
PRINCE and his UNIVERSE.

REAL MUSICIANS = REAL MUSIC!

One of the Aalborg reviews said that Maceo Parker didn't play well.
No wonder, he wasn't even there!

Hey man, the review in BT wasn't all that bad! The guy gave the show four stars out of six and summed the experience by stating that "Prince on stage sits safely on top of the music monarchy".

From what I could see, he didn't really have anything negative to say about the concert, instead he used a few lines to tell us how bad TRC is. As if we don't know that already.

Oh sorry, I was reading the review from Berlingske Tidende. I thought that was "BT". The one on bt.dk was a pretty painful read. "You know, this is funky, but I wish he could play like he used to, ole scragglyhead son of a..." POW!!
