Hi there:

was there last sunday and will attend again at the 16th. Downstairs is fine, it's a small club with an overall excellent view. I was wearing a black suit with a purple shirt and felt a bit overdressed wink. I didn't feel that there was a dress code at all but wouldn't wear trainers.

cheers,

Laufi

I have been to three aftershows. Each time I have won white trousers and a purple top but always comfy shoes. I was there last Sunday downstairs. This big lady behind me (I am only five foot two) pushed me and I ended up right at the front. Prince was on for over two and a half hours and I had the most brilliant view - I danced most of the time. Hope you have a great time - just feel comfortable in what you wear - you will enjoy every minute of it lol

I'll be there too, had such a good time last night (my 3rd and last main show, at the moment, anyway) I just knew I had to get an aftershow in. Just got the one ticket for myself as I can't persuade anyone else to come with me!

Hi, I´m coming from Holland this weekend with two friends. Have tix for main and aftershow (downstairs standing). I´m really thrilled after weeks of reading (great) reviews on the .org. At last I will see and hear the man myself. Really (really) hope he will appear at the aftershow and give a great performance. I´m so excited and counting the days. By the way it´s my first time in London. Does someone have any (nice) sightseeing/bar/restaurant tips for our weekend in funky London?

There is no dress code and trainers are definitely allowed. You are going to be on your feet a long time, so wear whatever will be the most comfortable footwear or you might end up regretting it. I've spoken to quite a few women now that have worn heeled footwear and had problems. They all migrated to trainers eventually.

My missus is also one of those to have moved from boots to trainers after a couple of aftershows and now wouldn't go back. She missed most of the first aftershow because she had to sit down, her feet were hurting that much!
RIP sad
