How much is a taxi from Crowne Plaza to the 02?

Does anybody know how much the taxi fare is from the Crowne Plaza hotel to the 02?

Not sure where the crowne plaza is, but it cost us about 25 pounds to central London takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Hope this helps !

The hotel is in London Docklands and I booked it because it's supposed to be close to the 02 (and it was cheaper than the Express Holiday Inn). However, I didn't realise that it's on the other side of the river and it looks like a long drive. Now I'm worried that it's going to cost me a fortune in taxi fares!

it cost us 15 pounds going and 18 coming back....

That's what I was afraid of! Was that without a tip?

So, it's going to cost me between £60 and £72 next week-end in taxi fares alone. Actually, it still works out cheaper than the Express Holiday Inn (leisure rate not available) + taxi fares. This is turning into a very expensive trip

We stayed at the London City Airport Travelodge (thats just beside actual airport & DLR station). I got a taxi after the aftershow. I paid £15 for that journey.
The 2nd nite i did'nt go 2 the aftershow so the tube was best 4 us that nite & obviously a lot cheaper with our all day ticket

The cheeky thieving fooker charged us £23 for that same journey. We must have been in the taxi for less than 10 minutes.

Thankfully we were in a good mood for the evening ahead otherwise he would have been found in the boot of his car, at the bottom of the Thames!!!
It was a minor thing though, we had a great night and early morning at the O2.

We actually phoned from the hotel bar so perhaps their preferred taxi service could be avoided if you wanted something less exorbitant.

I stayed at the Ibis Exel which is just on the other side of the water.
Money was tight for me so I just jumped on the tube there and back.
I'd already come from Victoria Station that day so I had an all day up to zone 3 pass £5.70 (don't know if thats just weekend rates).
I just looked up all train info on the net beforehand.

we have spent £100 on taxis already, after 2 concerts

tomoz we are taking my brothers Jensen VR8, which has an indium blue color, so we have just made a symbol for the bonnet, and tomoz we are going to drive to the dorchester, park the car (only 10 of these cars exist) outside and go in for tea and buns,

then we head to the 02, and we have made cloud guitars, but they only have 2 strings

not sure if prince will be happy we made £3,000 guitars for .50 pence, and on a bank holiday monday

anyway, i am curious if they will let us in with them
