Stress of 3121

I am so confused. I bought tix to the Jan 5th show last week, booked my flight/hotel then tix got pulled because there was no confirmation of those dates, dates are listed on ticketmaster, mike phillips myspace and the twinz myspace, RIO still has no info and the show is in 4 days.....

The Twinz sent me a message saying they haven't heard of the show being called off and that they didn't know anything about the ticket confusion. I just found out I cannot get a refund or switch to a different weekend if this show falls through.....I can't bear to think losing out $700 for my flight/hotel package, right after XMAS!

I am waiting anxiously today so some type of announcement????? sigh [Sad]

I just went to ticketmaster to see if they had gone back on sale yet and I couldnt believe they had not. This is not right for the people trying to go this weekend.

I called and they said to call back Tues or Wed.....

Why do they keep telling people different things?

This sucks and I really really hope there is a show this weekend!

Hi - I've just called the Rio - I like you had bought a ticket. They have said that they are not refunding until the schedule is confirmed one way or another.

I'll be calling back tomorrow and checking - what a bummer if the show is cancelled - am flying out specially.

sad

You guys, I feel so sorry. I keep my fingers crossed. Although I have a feeling he'll be playing. Didn't they tell Pkidwell, he was on contract until March.

Could very well be. It was pretty similar the first week he was supposed to perform...people weren't sure until a couple says before they openned. They cover their back by saying that Prince doesn't have a schedule either but I'm pretty confident he'd play.

Well even if Prince doesn't play it's not as if there isn't anything else to do in Vegas.

Don't give up, I really don't see why he'd... oh I don't know. Maybe you can ask your wife to marry you again? How about that and have the most wonderful honey moon ever...

.....and this is exactly why i refuse to make the effort to buy tickets and take precious time off work to fly from the uk to attend a show.the reason for this is simple..prince has made so much money over the years he doesnt have to commit anymore...he's made sure of that!the clever bastard has got the rio hotel and his dedicated fans at his mercy...he wont confirm...why should he...he may get a better offer to a party thrown by someone like his pal miss versace that weekend!

Support indie artists! These great music out there. cool

i somewhat agree. i was planning to go to Vegas in two weeks but can't book until the official email. I'll have to push it out further if there is no confirmation this week.

I've pretty much given up on Vegas, at this point. I won't book unless I know there's a concert -- and I (and the person I would go with) are going to have a very difficult time scheduling between the two of us.

I figure I'd rather just be bummed -- than bummed and broke.

Flight may be non-refundable but can you change the reservation for a fee? $75 or something like that? Just a thought. Other than that...keep hounding the Rio, Talk big like you're gonna get a bunch of dinner packages and see if they respond differently.

The restaurant is nice though. This is stressing me out now. Good luck, man.
