Terrorism? What about something more frightening?

What about the world we live in, that is polluted to buggary?

I think there is a more serious issue than terrorism at hand and maybe, just maybe, terrorism is one way in which certain nations don't have to take responsibility for stopping pollution and the destruction of a planet.

I think Bush should combine all of his most popular issues and start waging a war on gay terrorists from Mars.

Something more frightening that Terrorism?

For most of the world, that would mean a second term of Bush.

I'm not really frightened about terrorism, except maybe gay bashing which I suppose could be labeled a form of terrorism.

No, I'm frightened about more mundane things - like, do I have money enough to pay all my bills? Am I gonna be single for the rest of my life? Will Star Wars Episode 3 be as good as I hope it'll be? You know... Like that. biggrin

Global pollution, global warming, the destruction of our environment - it`s all a myth and a big conspiracy, according to our self-proclaimed experts in world affairs on this site. It`s simply not happening, and if it is, it`s natural and no real threat to the world. lol

That is the most frightening thing I've ever read. Hello? Is it natural for forests to fall, for the land to be covered in concrete, for cars to be chucking out all that crap?

If you ask me, that's a convenient way to avoid taking responsibility to do one's own part to put a stop to it. I am seriously scared that you both actually believe it can be a conspiracy. What the fuck...?

Also, it is a scientific proven fact.

Still can't believe you don't think it's happening...

It`s been posted here on various occasions but frequently ignored by your kind. When people have posted information by climate research institutes, your kind has been considered it "non-scientifical". When the information came from governmental sources, your answer usually was "well, they want funding". You have never posted any credible information that proves the fact of global warming and environmental destruction wrong. So there is hardly a way to convince you of anything.

You also ignore all arguments that environmental programs are in fact pro-capitalist, because they offer a new market.

This is a serious issue and it is being treated like some kind of disposable joke. I not only find that disturbing, but I find it disgusting.

It takes but a little kindness to be touched by the destruction that goes on all around, to really feel that powerlessness to help.

The first thing that is needed, is for individuals to take responsibility for their own denied feelings of despair at what is currently happening in the world.
