***I need a little understanding of procreation please*** Im not questioning...i just need some understanding.

I'm paraphrasing poorly (you'll find this question addressed much more eloquently at Christiananswers.net ), but one explanation could be the fact that -- given the fact that the Bible records early humans' lifespans as being much, much longer than ours -- it wouldn't be impossible for Cain to have wed a woman who would've amounted to a sister, niece or great-niece. Such "relatives" would also be the people from whom he'd need protection -- hence the "mark of Cain." | |
