it must be odd for Michelle Obama

to know that if she wanted to be the next president, she'd win in a landslide

all these clowns (on both sides) like a pack of wild dogs... and Michelle could just walk in and take it

it's no small thing ... first female president etc

to know that must be a strange (for want of a better word) feeling

It would depend on many factors. She is not a proven debater. Also her husband I don't believe he could stay out of the press, unlike Bill Clinton. It would also depend on who she ran against. She would get destroyed by Oprah. She just doesn't have the same charisma Obama or Trump has and she can also be triggered easier than a seasoned politician. Just saying someone would win is idiotic unless it is Oprah. We would all vote for Oprah.

What are you outraged about today? CNN has not told you yet?

She doesnt seem interested at the moment. And even if she were to, not sure if she could generate as much excitement. But will just add that Becoming was surprisingly open, candid and well-written...made me like her more.

Right now think Biden has more chance than anyone in the party if he actially decides to run. Relatable, qualified, trustworthy candidate with a solid military connection through his son - sth both left and right go crazy for.

No. He’ll be shaking hands with the newly elected leader (even if he/she is a democrat) and proudly go back to his trump tower in Ny and no one willl stop him. Worst case scenario he can always go to Russia or Swiss. Politicians and ex politicians get away with anything in this country it seems.

Would you have bet a million dollars onTrump or Clinton? I rest my case you can't predict who will win based on a "name brand."

neither

and it's not about name brand... there's so much more to it than that

i'd bet my house on Michelle to beat trump if she was the candidate... no question

but i can see you can't get past that to get to the actual point of this thread

I'm not denying her that but also when you run for office then you get into so much more. I believe it would depend a lot on her platform. She can't run on healthcare reform and war on terrorism like her husband did. So would she run her platform on BLM and climate change? For instance. Doubt she would run on job creation?

What would her platform look like? You see if the DOW moves to all-time highs and Trump can keep jobs in place and have no major War or drama with any of the dictators I think what is left is climate change and attacking Trump's character in general and that never worked in the past. I just don't know what Michelle or any other leftist would run on as the are SJW's in general and the problem running platform as SJW is the topics are divisive.

His tax cuts are not playing very well now, as people are filing their taxes. The Senate Intelligence has not released their report which will outline how exactly Russia influenced our elections - and that will not play well with Republicans. Per Senator Burr (R), "Republicans aren't going to love what we do. Democrats aren't going to say that this clears Trump." And then Mueller's report will be out long before the election, and depending on what he has found, it won't play well for Trump either. If there were nothing to find, this investigation would have been over long ago, because there would not have been any threads to follow, any leads to follow up on. They would not have even had a starting place that would lead them to other people, other events. The fact that this investigation has gone on for two years, says that they have had leads to follow, leads that lead them to others, that lead to more questions.

I will agree that a lot will depend on Mueller reports if they are released before the next election. Tough to say if they will be out before then.

She could win and it would be quite special because ....

1. She is a woman.

2. She is Barack Obama´s wife.

3.She is black.

But then again, she doesn´t have a chance because...

1. She is a woman.

2. She is Barack Obama´s wife.

3. She is black.

Silly... For one why assume democrats are racist and sexist? And 2 none on the 3 are a reason to consider at all in supporting or opposing someone.
