Thank you Jimmy Dore, Abby Martin, sending mass truth bombs:

Keating 5, called his wife a cunt, called people Gooks. Great guy.

Can we go back to hating on McCain?

I never hated McCain. I just disagreed with his politics, and wouldn't vote for him. But I admired his service to America.

Trump, on the other hand, I despise with all of my heart.

Co-sign also.

And there is some trolling about anyone who spends more time HATING on someone like Obama and McCain than on far more deserving characters in US politics. No one is perfect, but I just find it hysterical that he trolls just for getting a rise. If he spent as much time on the truly bonkers politicians ( which are infinite) as he does on Obama, then I could take him seriously. But its just a troll he does expecting knee-jerk reactions (which he never gets lol) which in turn makes him troll even harder lol

It's mad how all the NYTimes libs love him while all the Trump voters hate him, it's like they got their wires crossed.

Everybody who is anti-war should be anti-McCain. It's simple really.

I think one can be anti-war and still appreciate the few good things that John McCain did (without supporting his hawkish views).

What I don´t understand is why so many folks here in this thread don´t understand what you, Freaky and Hausofmoi rightfully criticize about him (and it is one of those extremely rare occasions where you three finally are in agreement, which is good to see).

You ´ve made some very valid points .

And this has nothing to do with being Republican, Democrat, or pro-Trump or anti-Trump.

.

But yeah, I understand that maybe they just want to let him rest in peace and not talk bad about a deceased person.

" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Like many people, McCain was a complicated man, and people can have complicated and even contradictory views of him. I for one, admired his service to America, disliked much of his politics- especially his hawkish views, and LOVED that fact that he probably despised Donald Trump as much as I do, and probably for many of the same reasons. It's too simplistic, in my view, to just see one side of him, and judge him completely by that.

McCain is everything Trump isn't.

He served his country. McCain admitted he had faults, he never failed to tell us that. He went thru 5.5 years of torture. He had morals. He was a gentleman. He could work with the other party and get things done. He was a Patriot. McCain wasn't a coward.

So true. McCain was human. Donald Trump is sub-human
