Does seem a bit contradictory....

I quoted the New York Times precisely because I know that publications like that are so revered by people like you. My own view is that they have to be approached with extreme caution since they have conflicts of interest. And yes, Thomas Jefferson's quote still applies today. They lie and deceive frequently.

That doesn't mean everything they write is false. The article I quoted was written in the immediate aftermath of the election loss. For a brief moment you had a few people here and there telling the truth. That NYT article was one example.

That moment was extremely brief and even at the time it was drowned out by propagandists insanely screaming "Jill Stein!" at the tops of their voices. You yourself even swallowed that bizarre and absurd excuse jj. Then your leaders gave you the Russia excuse and that's been your default setting ever since.

From now on, I'll look to you as my only news source, since it's obvious that the rest of us are just easier manipulated clods, and you are an all seeing all knowing super genius....

Thanks again for helping all my stupid American brethren!

I was thinking the same thing! I just never know what is true and what is not and now I know where to go for all the "real" news! It's about time!

Looking at this photo - it is clear that DeNiro's sentiment is 100% correct:

Theatergoer Holds Up 'Trump 2020' Flag At Robert De Niro's 'Bronx Tale'

As the cast from

An audience member held up a “Trump 2020” banner at a Broadway performance of “A Bronx Tale” on Saturday ― perhaps to hit back at the musical’s co-director, Robert De Niro, for his repeated “f--- you” at President Donald Trump during the recent Tony Awards.

The “Keep America Great” sign went up during curtain calls, prompting a strong online response from “A Bronx Tale” hair and makeup supervisor Brian Strumwasser, who reported that the patron was “removed.”

Did anyone else notice Trump announcing his new Space Force? He actually said there will be an Air Force and a Space Force - "Separate But Equal". Quoted probably the worst Supreme Court decision ever handed down. Video below at @ 1:05. shake shake shake

Robert De Niro Said What We’re All Thinking

On Sunday night, Robert De Niro lit up the Tony Awards when he went onstage and expressed something millions of Americans say every day in front of a television set, under their breath at work or out with friends having drinks: “F**k Trump.” The audience roared in applause.

It was electrifying, cathartic and galvanizing for those of us infuriated by this administration and determined to do what we can to stop the madness. Two simple words ― which De Niro repeated.

This, of course, was followed by feigned outrage from conservatives like Mike Huckabee, who called the language “vile” but didn’t seem to have any problem with Donald Trump’s referring to any NFL player taking a knee during the national anthem as a “son of bitch” just weeks ago during a speech, not to mention Trump’s use of “shithole countries” and a whole host of things too numerous to list here.

This is spot on. I know that DeNiro will just piss off his base - but Trump gets away with so much more offensive and damaging speech.

People are so outraged right now that the Kathy Griffin photo of her with TFOTFC's ( first time using it, stands for The Father Of The Feckless C*nt ) severed head is making the rounds again. Talk about pissing off his deplorable base. I love it.

Her photo joke is nothingburger measured against the cries of small children being separated from their parents and held in cages and windowless rooms.
