You don't have to agree with my opinion at all.

Prove to me that when Indigenous Australians refers to themselves as black or are referred to as black that this is just because they recognise a common heritage with the blacks in Africa or America. This is what you have pushed and it is wrong. The shared similarity of circumstances between Indigenous Australians and a people in the US is far more with Indigenous Americans than African Americans - Are they referred to as black?

falloff Can you comprehend? This is the last time I’m going to explain what I said about this. I’ve said they refer to themselves as Black, I did not say they were Black Americans or Africans or even shared those particular cultures or identity. I simply stated many of them calm themselves Black, and that they have similar/varied shades of dark brown to Black skin, as many from African ethnic groups and Black Americans. Did I say that dark-skinned Indians from India are the same as Black Americans or those from African ethnic groupsnbecause if their varied dark skin? Nope, again I said many of them share the same variations of dark brown and Black shades, just like Africans and Black Americans. Never said they were the same as Black Americans or Africans or shared the same cultures or beliefs, as Black Americans. I did say that if many from those groups, took a dna test it would not be surprising if many carried African dna from specific African ethnic groups, just like when Dr. Spencer Wells, tested some dna samples from dark-skinned indigenous Australians , and their results showed DNA from specific African, ethnic groups. That is documented info he provided. No one said they had to identify as African based on that. I also did not say any of those groups mentioned, follow or have similar cultures of Black Americans or African ethnic groups. You are the confused one, and losing your shit over the term ‘Black.’ I certainly have no problem identifying as a Black American born and raised in America, and yet embrace my African, British/Irish and Native American dna, and my Black American and Caribbean cultures, all at the same time, because identifying as a ‘Black’ American doesn’t take away all that ‘I am.’ That’s the beauty of it. You shouldn’t freak out so much when you hear or read the term ‘Black’ The term won’t jump off the page and bite you in the ass. So R e l a x. : comfort: And of4s, shame on you for making such silly assumptions that anyone who embraces their ‘Black’ American identity is a ‘racialist.’ Please don’t push your insecurities of how you feel about the term ‘Black’ on me. That’s something you have to work out on your own, and I wish you luck with that. Peace to both of you though. Good luck with the rest of the discussion. peace

.

Can you comprehend?

.

It is not about the use of the word "black". It is about your false accusations and inability to listen to others.

.

You lied and made false allegations against me when you said "But I also find it surprising when I hear or read statements from many genetic scientists, anthropologists, other researchers say ‘We’re all Africans’, and then folks like you and OF4S, protest that diligently, as though it’s an insulting term. When they said ‘all’ they mean ‘ALL’ humans. "

.

This statement of your is false. I never, ever, ever protested against us all having African roots. I asked you to demonstrate where I did say such an incorrect thing and YOU COULD NOT DEMONSTRATE I SAID WHAT YOU SAID I SAID - This is because your accusation was a lie - it was directly in reply to me saying "But all humans test with some percentage of DNA from an African ethic group. All this means is we all share common roots. from Africa."

.

We actually agree on this - WE ARE ALL AFRICANS. But somehow you want to find we don't agree! Every human on earth has in their DNA some African - Blackfellas (the far more common term for Indgenous Australians than blacks), Maori, Islanders, Indians, white people, Asian people, latin American people etc. etc. everyone. IT IS NOT INSULTING TO HERE THIS OR SAY IT - you are barking up the wrong tree.

.

That a group of people refer to themselves as black is not an issue with me and not what I was discussing. It was how you linked the term "black" as used by some Indigenous Australians with Dr Spencer's DNA tests and equated the word "black" with their African roots. It is good that in your rant above you have backtracked from this, so again we agree - Black as used by Indigenous Australian is not a reference to their African heritage. It simply is not why Australians often call themselves blackfellas and sometimes shorten this to blacks. Both terms predate us knowing about DNA. Both terms predate us determining we are ALL African. There was no collective word for Australians when the English invaded and colonised - the invaders called the Australians "black" based purely on the colour of their skin. It is an imposed term that they made their own as "Blackfellas".

.

Please take the time to read what I said and reflect on it - I was never, ever denying our African-ness, I was just attacked by you on basis of a false accusation that directly contradicted what I said in the very quote you were responding to.

But you were the liar, you lied and cannot prove that Ian nor I said or believe the LIE you posted

Shame on you for lying

Tsk, tsk shame on you for calling me a liar. No lying at all. But wait a minute. Are you not aware that there are black Latinos? What about black italians?

And what about Samonas & Tongas?

Well 'Latino' is not an 'ethnic group' specifically. Latino is sorta like CREOLE.

Yes there are African Latinos, and Tiano or Native Latinos, and Euro-mixed Latinos, And Lebanese Latinos like Shakira and a few other famous ones, and Mulatto Latinos

When you say 'Black Italian' what do you mean? I don't think that is a European term. Do you mean Nigerian Italians, Senegalese Italians? as in ethnic African national Italian?

I think I refered to Samoans indirectly with Hawaiians (Polynesians)

So you understand know what I meant when I said dark skinned does not equal Black?

Creole is part French, not Latin. But since we are talking skin tones, then yes, I see your point.

Tony I said Latino is Like Creole
Latino is usually dealing with Spanish people not born in Spain, and the people who are mixed with Spanish and cultures originating under Spanish colonies.

Creole is the same thing but with French.

The first time Demi Lovato found out in her DNA results that she has 1% black African blood, She was no longer just Latina. She was also a black woman! nod

And BTW, the answer is yes. If you have black African blood within you DNA, you are black! Period. Point Blank. End of.

I'm calm. I'm just wish OldFriends would avoid making the same mistake Raven Simone did a few years by insulting my intelligences. And I remind you that no matter how Raven choose to describe her, she will NEVER be taken as an 100% white European American.

Raven Simone talked to you?

When did Raven Simone say she was white or wanted to be white.

She said she was mixed. That is not wanting to be white, denying she is part black.
Your intelligence needs to be upgraded on the subject.
Get rid of the 1 Drop Rule mindset

.

And you still deny that you issued Dark Skin as equalling Black(African), negating all other dark skinned ethnic groups.

.
But you would not admit you're wrong

You just dance around it and bring up all kinds of strawmen

If you believe 1 drop of Black blood makes you black then you are a racist. Period. Point Blank, End of Lies. The one drop rule is racist, and you accept it, yet you don't accept all the other racist ideals. You accept the ideals of a racist that makes you of the same persuasion

.

You prize non African beauty and put mixed folk at the top of the line and then complain about colorism.

That need for non African dna in among Black americans is why you created Rachel Dolezar.

If it is there, then we can all benefit, but you flapping your gums and bringing up Raven Simone and trying to claim European looking women with 1 drop of African ancestry is pathetic

Post the images of the African ethnic groups that look like this 'Early Briton with Dark Skin'

That's all you have to do

oh and stop believing that Dark Skin Equals Black

Raven also said that she doesn't like labels neither. And the way she said those things gave plenty of black folks in the USA the wrong idea that she has either never felt comfortable being seen as a [light-skinned] black woman OR she never wanted to be associated with people of black African descent at all. In other words, Raven wanted to be as passible white as possible. No, she never said that and I will not put words in her mouth. But I did get the message from reading between the lines and every black person that is awaken definitely got the message too.

And another thing: I'm not a black racist. And it is downright impossible for me OR any black American to be a black racist unless black supermacy becomes the norm within the institutional racism of the USA. And I have stated on numorous occasion that I'm against all types of racial/ethnic supermacies, including white AND black supermacy.
