Hmmm. Somehow I think you meant as a white man in America, Trump can expect to be treated badly - and they are treating him especially badly.

SuperFurryAnimal said:

I believe so. All I see from Trump is some form of Trickle down economics. I don't see him trying to take over the world and pull some Nazi Hitler shit. I see him more as a man that is in defiance. Trump is not politically correct. Trump is the type that will be like screw that I'll say what I want. Sometimes I don't like that either but also I don't see him as an insane monster like CNN and media want me to believe.

My point is that white guys are not treated badly in America. They run the show. They have the money. They call the shots. Advantages. Poor Trump my azz. He's so immature it's pathetic.

Of course every human being regardless of color or sex has to endure being called out by others or feeling like a schlub sometimes, no matter their status.

No one is saying Trump is Hitler either. Drama.

Nope, not really, because trump was the one who used racial stereotypes, as part of his campaign tactic, to attract/win over a certain segment of his voter base, who he knew and knows harbor that type of ignorance, specifically the David Duke/nazi/kkk/white nationalists supporters, who made themselves visible at some of his rallies. Let’s not pretend he didn’t, so stop making him a victim of the racist bs he chose to spew.

I seriously doubt people are now equating those who simply disagree with their political perspective
with also being a "Nazi." In the specific context of this thread, that is probably a false reality created
by those who either support the right, are sympathetic with the right and/or reject any section that is
associated with the left. I have also seen appeals to addressing and confronting wantonly malevolent
rhetoric that carries with it the promise of my death/harm and the death/harm of others it views as
being different with using our "words" instead of physical violence in this thread as well; this is
utterly naive: it is not always ethical, moral, or even sensical to stop the promise of violence with
words. Sometimes, a foot up the ass is more effective or do we not understand how history unfolds?

Until that false reality is *real*, anytime a Nazi gets his ass whupped, the news of it will continue to
bring a tear and a smile to my face.

Interesting that the topic is about Antifa showing up for Richard Spencer's rally to drum up support for the wall. And thankfully he fled after 20 minutes. Instead of the usual Antifa bashing (alleged card carrying member here, lol) - it's an "Alt-right" pity party.

I agree with real Nazis if they get ass kicked all good but they you have this blurring of Trump supporters, alt-right, Nazis, KKK. When ANTIFA goes someplace to start violence do you believe they take extra care in not beating shit out of a Trump supporter? Do you think they don't see Trump as Hitler. So I feel the same way about someone that may get ass kicked for simply going after a Trump supporter in a MAGA hat.

This is a great response to my post for it is actually giving me pause as you are correct in me not
wanting ANTIFA to beat up Trump supporters in the place of Nazis. I do believe that line can be
easily blurred.

I don't have an answer just yet, Furry, because I admittedly don't want to let go of my anger to-
wards fuckfaces like Nazis, etc. And, how far can I go with condoning physical violence even if it
is expressed in what I think is justifiable context? It is indeed a very slippery slope, so thanks for
reeling me back in. That being said, I still do not think we should always meet the promise of
physical violence with words . . .

Funny, nobody said things like that about Mitt Romney- a rich White businessman. Perhaps because Romney didn't make racist comments, or had a history of racist actions....

I hope you can understand too that I see violence against radicals as a way for the radicals to spread their disease. So though I may not feel bad about real Nazis getting beat up I believe it is counterproductive to really stopping them. I believe ANTIFA strictly is set up for political agendas.

The difference in when one groups main objective is to show up and cause violence. Though I may not agree with Richard Spencers group if they show up and peacefully protest and break no laws.. I don't give a flying fuck. As a matter of fact I never heard of Spencer and if I did I didn't take much notice or care for long.

ANTIFA has more of a strange objective. They violence and towards MAGA/Trump supporters in past.

I don't have a problem with radicals; it depends upon what one is radical about. When it comes
to those who are on the right, and want to use violence in words and deeds to restrict my liberties
and freedoms, I don't mind those radicals on the left who feel obliged to push back. And, now that
I have had time to think about it, I am not sure there ever is a productive way to "really stopping"
scourges living on the hinterlands of the far right.

LOL! What are you trying to do here - prompt me into answering some trick question? Of course
Antifa sits on the far left; it's histories began in Europe by those on the left back in the second and
third decades of the 1900s when Italian, Spanish, and German governments saw a rise in fascism.
Yet, I do not suspect all Antifa groups are functioning under one platform or unilaterally as one
united political organism.

But, I am not saying that Antifa uses violence "somewhat indiscriminately" to prevent anything. I'm
not even sure how it follows for you to ask me that question from what I posed above. So, I will
highlight the context in my post that I want you to be mindful of moving forward . . .

(1) totally different group with zero connection... the Dallas Cowboys are just as closely related to Jesse James and his gang as the current Anita is to whatever you are talking about

But, I am not saying that Antifa uses violence "somewhat indiscriminately" to prevent anything. I'm
not even sure how it follows for you to ask me that question from what I posed above. So, I will

(2) Well okay so you refuse... got it do you accept them attack people for no other reason that they do not like their political opinion?

(1) This is not entirely true. There is a constant theme that links Antifa in the 1920s and
1930 with the 1970s and 1980s and to the 2010s which is radically opposing that which is
perceived as being fascist. Any attempt to make a distinction between 20th century Antifa
with 21st century Antifa by overlooking this linkage is shortsighted.

(2) I'm for punching Nazis in the face and for those on the far right who are using violence in
word and deed to spread hate having a "righteous beating" from those on the far left who are
meeting that rhetoric and action proportionately. Otherwise, beating up people for simply hav-
ing a different perspective from yours is an incommensurate administration of a "righteous
beating" but I do not know that all Antifa groups are doing that. And if you are saying that is
the case (that Antifa is beating people up simply for disagreeing with them politically), I definite-
ly am not taking your word for it because you have created false realities for the purposes of
maintaining your bias and preferred worldview for many months now.
