How Donald Trump Stole The Election

Greg Palast made a film in mid-2016 explaining how the Republicans were going to steal the upcoming election. He's been reporting on voter suppression in the US for years now so he knows this subject inside out. His prediction for 2016 proved to be eerily accurate.

Basically there are over 7 million Americans (overwhelmingly from ethnic minorities) on a list called Cross Check which means that their votes can be discounted because they have been falsely accused of voting twice. Usually they are unaware that this has even happened. It is Jim Crow in the 21st century.

The following two-part feature breaks it all down. Cross Check is only one part of it. Two million votes are discounted for various other absurd reasons. Oh and the Democrats have apparently used the same tactics in primaries (like in California last year) which is one reason they refuse to do anything about all this. When Jill Stein highlighted this issue by forcing a recount in Michigan after Trump's election, Democrats offered no support, even though they could've unseated Trump that way. Stein's recount was eventually cancelled. Wonder why...

Palast is proving this isn't a partisan issue, that both "sides" play the same dirty tricks.

Should we get mad when we don't like the results or should we always be mad, even when the dirty tricks benefit the candidate or party of our choice?

Trump didn't steal the election. Fat-assed, chain-smoking, cheese-eating, couch-potatoing, Schlitz-drinking losers in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvanie who were too freaking lazy to peel themselves off their lardasses and vote. To wit:

WISCONSIN
Democrats - Down 243,397 voters
Republicans - Down 3,590 voters
A net negative swing for Democrats of 239,807 votes
Clinton lost this state by 27,257 votes

MICHIGAN
Democrats - Down 322,639
Republicans - UP 142,910
A net negative swing for Democrats of 465,549 votes
Clinton lost this state by 11,837 votes

PENNSYLVANIA
Democrats - Down 146,190
Republicans - UP 231,552
A net negative swing for Democrats of 377,742 votes
Clinton lost this state by 68,236 votes

It's been so long since I've had to talk about those disgusting, no-shaving, beer-bellied, public-belching, toenail-eating, ear-wax-collecting, Nirvana-loving losers that I had to think long and hard about the descriptions!

I can't wait for them to all crawl back under their rocks.

Both sides are effectively colluding to lock out progressives. It is you conservatives who benefit from millions of Americans having their vote taken from them. Without this systemic voter suppression conservatives (in both the Republican and Un-democratic parties) could never win.

There also would not have been a Republican in the White House since George Bush Sr.

I don't care if he does, because I will most likely never hear those other people anyway. The only thing that matters is that we get the information and Palast has been a goldmine of information for some time now.

I find it interesting that now that Asian Americans are voting overwhelmingly for the Un-democrats they are all of a sudden getting their votes taken away from them by Cross Check.

Trump's false claims about millions of illegal votes is just the latest step in this systematic assault on the voting rights of ethnic minorities. That's why the NAACP are suing him for his so-called Election Integrity Commission. Wish they'd show this kind of force against the un-Democrats too.

Trump Sued by the NAACP Over Election Integrity Commission

Tim Kenneally | Last Updated: July 18, 2017 @ 3:11 PM

President Donald Trump was slapped with a lawsuit on Tuesday by the NAACP, which is seeking to shut down the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity.

In the suit, the NAACP Legal Defense & Education Fund alleges that the commission has “an intention to discriminate against African-American and Latino voters, in violation of the United States Constitution.”

“Plaintiffs seek to enjoin the operation of the Commission because the President has neither constitutional nor statutory authority to create a new executive organ for the purpose of launching an investigation that targets individual or groups of voters. President Trump has not appointed a commission for the purpose of consulting with fair-and-balanced advisors; rather, he has appointed a commission stacked with biased members to undertake an investigation into unfounded allegations of voter fraud, even though Congress has specifically delegated the authority to ensure the accuracy of voter rolls to the Election Assistance Commission (‘EAC’) and state election officials, not the President,” the suit, filed in federal court in New York, reads.

“Further, statements by President Trump, his spokespersons and surrogates, and individuals he has selected to lead and serve on the Commission, as well as the work of the Commission as described by its co-chairs, are grounded on the false premise that Black and Latino voters are more likely to perpetrate voter fraud,” the suit continues. “These statements and the planned actions of the Commission evince an intention to discriminate against African-American and Latino voters, in violation of the United States Constitution,” the suit continues.

Vice President Mike Pence, who serves as chair of the commission, and commission vice chair Kris Kobach are also named as defendants in the suit.

The commission, which has asked states to provide data on voters for the purported purpose of curtailing voter fraud, has been the subject of criticism from voters concerned about the preservation of their privacy.

In the lawsuit, the NAACP alleges that the commission’s actions “have already had a chilling effect on Black and Latino voters. Some voters have taken the extraordinary step of unregistering, and Black and Latino voters in particular have reported well-founded fears of being targeted for false allegations of voter fraud and of being retaliated against for their political affiliation.”

The NAACP goes on to state that the commission’s actions “are motivated, at least in part, by racial discrimination.” In particular, the suit says, Kobach has “railed against what he regards as the threat of voter fraud in distinctly racialized terms. For example, Secretary Kobach has warned against ‘replacing American voters with newly legalized aliens,’ because ‘if you look at it through an ethnic lens … over the long term, you’ve got a locked in vote for socialism.'”

The lawsuit also asserts that Trump hasn’t backed up his claims of voter fraud in the 2016 election.

“At no time has President Trump provided any evidence to substantiate the claim that widespread voter fraud existed in the November 2016 election or any other election,” the complaint reads.

Palast also predicted that Jon Ossoff would lose the Georgia election back in June. He filmed this report for Democracy Now where he shed a light on the racist voter suppression which was underway to secure that result.

Here Palast talks about Trump's hateful scheme to roll out even more intense voter suppression. He knows it's the only way he can last 8 years. Trump has installed the "Al Capone of Vote Rigging", Kris Kobach, to lead the crackdown on the fictitious crime of people voting twice (it almost never happens). You match what Trump has said with what Kobach has done before and you quickly see what is going on. Palast has confronted Kobach before. You can see the footage in this clip. Kobach is confronted with his crimes and cannot deny it.
