Climate Collapse Outpacing Scientific Models

It was staring the ecological realities of our planet straight in the face that first made me realize that our status quo is utterly untenable. Here Cenk delivers some of the latest information about the ongoing climate crisis.

lol if global warming is real and if it is man made and if you love the Earth then you must agree! Right? Kill all Humons!

Oh but it is too late! We were told in 2005 that we had 5 years to reverse things or it would be too late... well 12 years later nothing has changed! So it MUST be too late so we might a well just enjoy it until the end!

you are so right the entire reversible man-made catastrophic global climate change is a total train wreck based on lies fed by a political ideology of control and as a bonus totally removing a woman's right to choose.

No, what's a trainwreck are your posts and the goofy logic therein. For example: some of the
damage done to the environment by human activity is not reversible and I don't know of too
many reputable scientists making that claim in the first place. Also, I know you were being fa-
cetious but the solution here is not to:

Kill all Humons!

. . . which is to ignore our contributions to global warming. The answer is to reflect critically on our
earthly stewardship as it is clearly now a deleterious practice. I am not invoking any political ideology
here, just acknowledging what is the consensus from the community of those people who are trained
to conduct scientific research and what they have discovered about the quality of said earthly stew-
ardship. To view the findings of science and any consensus that follows through a political lens and to
suggest that accepting the truth of that consensus is to appeal to political ideology is stupid.

But, most Amurikkkans are indeed stupid.

it is not that I am denying there is a cycle of warmer and cooler temperatures and less and more severe weather... my issue is actually more complex than most of the Al Gore types...

Someone posted a variation of Pascal's wager... that doing nothing was the most risky as there was the most to lose...

But it suffered from the same flaw that Pascal made...

The claim was we can do something or nothing and it is real or not real

If it is not real and we do nothing.... so what
If it is not real and we do something... ok we spend some money but we also maybe gain something

If it is real and we do nothing we all DIE (or whatever)
If it is real and we do something we all are saved!

But what is the YUGE flaw? The same flaw that totally ruins Pascal's argument?

Yawn, the scientific consensus was reached years ago, if you have something to add to it then submit to a scientific journal, i'm not here to trade facts with you.

We all know this is about ideology not science and you're more concerned about owning libs online and threatening violence with your guns (hilarious btw, as if any of the gunowners could be even bothered to leave their air-conditioned car and actually do something) than you'll ever be with whether humans are affecting the environment we live in.

Meanwhile as the price of renewable power drops and drops and both the rest of the world and, increasingly, entire cities in the USA ignore whatever bullshit Trump and his mates try to pass. Pretty soon the question on whether or not climate change exists will be irrelevant because all the energy jobs will be in green power and the savings will be in the pocket of the common Joe all across America.

and nothing in that rant has anything what-so-ever to do with what I said... NO ONE THING.

I agree it is an ideology but it is the climate alarmist. And I never threaten violence... that is just a big o' fib! Bomb Squad did not I....

I also never once said humans were not affecting the environment.... so that is another fib!

and I am ALL for renewable energy. So that is yet another fabrication of your part.

And, we're down to threats so early in the thread. Good that you admit to being a stupid dumbfuck. Maybe that's why you are pro-military and guns, because you can't solve problems any other way. And, you get off on the supposed upperhand, knowing you can make other "Humons" squirm - using a weapon - fake courage.

you must be talking to BombSquad as he was the one who said "better solution: just kill the ignorant stupid dumbfucks who deny climate change and reject to do anything about it." I did not make any threat I just stated a fact that I would be kind of hard to do that... LOLZ but I know you have it in for me.

And you need to re-read what I said... I made no such admission... I just used what BS said back to him. I made no boast as to what I would do... so yeah go back and read it and revise your post.

Well, if that is what you see, or rather don't see, then my qualification was spot on.

It shows previous cycles of warming & cooling even before mankind engaged in industrial activities.
Hence: IT'S NATURE, BITCHES! lol lol lol lol

Well, I could start arguing with the graphs and saying where it's wrong and the like but I couldn't really be bothered having that particular internet argument.

My understanding is that the vast, vast majority of those involved in studying climate are in agreement that it's humans currently causing current global warming. Do you have a reason to doubt that many people, whether it be a grand globalist conspiracy or theyre all just plain wrong or what?

If you're referring to the 93% (or 97% or 98%) consensus amongst 'climate scientists' then

A) That has been debunked by 1. the statistics dept. from the same university 2. By Dr. Richard toll, former science-member of the IPCC
B) Science is not a democracy.

C) Only facts count. Not predictions by models.

Further: I f you look even on a longer time scale then the graph above, you will see more drastic periods of cooling and warming. Long before any man set foot on this planet. (e.g. Vladivostock ice core proxy data)
