It is NOT legal to privately sell a handgun to someone 15 years of age.

That said, no ages have been given for the "teens" that attempted the failed armed robbery.

Of course, anyone that is willing to use a gun for the purpose of robbery and home invasion is willing to obtain a gun illegally. So, what law could we inact to prevent this from happening?

no, it is not legal of course. but registration or ID and age verfication also on 2nd hand sales will make it way HARDER to break the law. it will never prevent 100 percent, but that is true for all laws and controls.

do they ask teenagers for age verfication to buy alcohol or when entering a bar? I hear some 2nd amendment nuts already scream " but there is no constitutional right to drink alcohol!!" FUCK OFF
and it is also illegal to enter the US without a valid passport. and there will also always be criminals who will still try to get in without passport or with faked ones. but I hear no one asking to abandon border controls, just because "illegals will try to get in anyway"

[Edited 11/28/17 2:37am]

how far are you going to move the goal post? you said in Germany a 15-year-old cannot get a gun at a store--due to gun LAWS. So in the context of laws, I said a 15-year-old can not buy a handgun. And you said I am a liar because a 15-year-old can illegal buy one?

Make up your minds!

And please 3 laws that are sensible that you think the US should have!

I’m glad Arby’s got their $150 back! Puts the 33,000 gun deaths annually in perspective.

Guns need to be carefully regulated in 21st Century America. Extreme examples from the past should always be examined in the context of their time and place.

Right.

To minimize Naziism and the Klan in 2017 because they are not as explicit or as openly powerful
as they used to be is to minimize how they are perceived by their victims and to minimize the ef-
fect their rhetoric has on inclusivity, rationality, peace, and comity. We shouldn't ignore 2017 Nazis
or 2017 Klansmen simply because they aren't as formidable as they used to be like those who do
not know how to apply lessons learned from history appropriately seem to suggest.

Emend the second amendment, written and conceived during the late 18th century, to reflect
our 21st century society . . . duh.

Don't ask me a question you already know the answer to, bro-bro.

And, I gave you one change that I think will be a means to an end that seeks to regulate guns in
the twenty-first century's USA!
