Find better sources

He makes no sense at all, and reminds me of the ignorant ones who actually have no idea Puerto Rico is an American island. The type that actually still celebrate Columbus Day because they think Columbus actually set foot on the mainland of America and discovered it. Lol. He's jealous because Puerto Rico is an American island, and he doesn't like the fact that the Puerto Ricans there are Americans, and that there is no wall to prevent them from entering the mainland to a country they belong to. That's too bad for him because there is nothing he can do or say to change that.

Puerto Rico mayor dons ‘NASTY’ T-shirt in TV appearance slamming Trump

Puerto Rico mayor dons ‘NASTY’ T-shirt to take on Trump
NEW YORK DAILY NEWS
Thursday, October 5, 2017, 2:55 AM

In an interview with Univision on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz wore a black t-shirt with the word "NASTY" emblazoned on it.

The mayor of San Juan proudly sported a T-shirt emblazoned with the word “NASTY” on it for a TV appearance in which she took shots at President Trump’s response to Hurricane Maria.

Carmen Yulin Cruz appeared on Univision Wednesday, saying she wore the shirt in response to Trump, who attacked her on Twitter after Puerto Rico was ravaged by the Category 4 storm on Sept. 20.

After she criticized the government's response to the disaster, the president tweeted, “The Mayor of San Juan, who was very complimentary only a few days ago, has now been told by the Democrats that you must be nasty to Trump."

Trump notably called Hillary Clinton a “nasty woman” during the presidential debates and the phrase quickly became a rallying cry among women who opposed him.

Trump made it personal. She was just telling the truth of what was going on in Puerto Rico with people dying, and not getting help fast enough. The alarm about the hurricane possibly going to be a category 5 went out days before the hurricane hit Puerto Rico.

And even if that is the case she still used her dislike for trump to get political points when (if she cared about her people) she should be focused on doing her job.

Trump simply can't relate to "ordinary people" and their problems. He never had to work hard for anything...it was all handed to him.He has no heart which is why he has problems empathizing with people who are experiencing tragedy. When he visited Puerto Rico,it was nothing more than a ridiculous photo op.....no warmth,no compassion,no heart.

Since you obviously lack the intellect to discern what I was saying, I will clarify for you :

1. As I said at the time, I knew you would harp on Bill Maher's stupid joke using the so-called N word. I stated that in the CONTEXT of what he said, and given his personal HISTORY, I myself did not find it offensive. I laugh at off color and nasty, and yes, politically incorrect humor all the time. You do not determine what I should be "offended" by.

2. I have stated that I would not rule out a violent response if someone called me TO MY FACE a racial or ethnic slur, or insulted my wife or child. I doubt any real man (or woman) on here would see that as wrong. You yourself said that was "understandable"... so why are you lying now???

And yet although there has been constant coverage of the aftermath of the hurricane in Puerto Rico and how poorly it was handled by this administration, ait is October and still no updated, media coverage or followup about the aftermath of the hurricane of the USVI, and how survivors there are managing. No coverage of Pence's visit there and followup of that trip. Just dead silence. No surprise.

Thanks. There has been very, little coverage of the hurricane there, yet that is the island that was hit with a category 5 hurricane, which is right next door to Puerto Rico. No one in the media making any attempts to report on the survivors or the recovery effort there. Very interesting, yet not surprised.

Ha ha love this morningsong. It is so Caribbean. Practical. Don't invite treble.

While she told the online outlet that a visit from a sitting U.S. president would be “very gratifying” to the islands’ residents (you sure, fam?), it’s not “necessary” in terms of the Virgin Islands’ rebuilding effort.

In short: The Trumps and their trash-ass towels can stay their asses at home.

Most Virgin Islanders are too polite to actually say that last line but they might if you get a little rum in them.

Yes, I agree, especially when stateside Americans visit. Many in the West Indian cultures of the Caribbean, can be a bit conservative, when it comes to other cultures of tourists visiting the islands. Especially when it comes to their versions of mannerisms, which was a big thing growing up in my parents household, and dealing with my Aunts and Uncles. Lol.
