I know some will claim this is a support of assclown trump (it's not). I dislike him and I loathe david duke, but to those that continually claim the one asshole has refused to disavow the other asshole:

If you don't believe him, think he's lying, fine, maybe he is. But, say that. Don't pretend he didn't even say it.

Durham County sheriff's deputies arrested a woman who said she took part in toppling the Confederate statue in downtown Durham. More arrests are expected.

Donald Trump is a racist and awful person (I actually use to like him prior to him running for president) I dont see how anybody could still support, respect and defend him after everything he has said and done.

So fine, doesn't change the fact that this thread is full of repeated claims that he did not disavow duke or the kkk etc, when clearly he did. It's asinine to make shit up when he offers so much ammunition to be used against him.

Remember, Trump's father Fred was arrested at a Klan riot in Queens, NY in 1927.

The apple does not fall far from the tree. If they were there to protest the removal of the statue peacefully, they wouldn't have shouted racist insults about Blacks and Jews, during their protest march.

Good point.

Why were they allowed to come fully armed carrying fire? In New Orleans masking is illegal except on Mardi Gras day.

So arrests have already been made in the NC statue vandalism, but no arrests for the brutal beating of Deandre Harris by white supremacists right by a police station in Charlottesville even though at least one has been identified. Huh. It's almost like symbols matter more than people. The celebration and glee is very telling.

That poor kid. Sickening. They have plenty of photos of those guys beating him. Yeah, this whole Charlottesville thing was only about protesting a statue.

An individual does not have to allow it on their property. A business does not have to allow it from customers or employees.

An individual does not have the right to pre7vent the rights of another individual. We do not have the right to prevent another from saying something that we do not like or that offends us. We never have.

Nowhere does it say on their property.

Its about the government interferring with peoples' rights and that's it.

Then tell me this. If I say something that offends you, as a private citizen, how can you stop me without violating my rights and without breaking the law?

I don't know how I could physically stop you. But it still isn't a right protected by the 1st amendment. There are some that are indoctrinated with a belief they have rights they don't.

Good article, thanks. Everything he said today more than wipes out anything he said yesterday.

You don't know how because you could not. Not without violating my rights and/or breaking the law. You do not have the right to stop anyone from saying anything.

if you are not willing to tolerate the existence of speech you can not stand then you may not really support free speech.

This isn't about "free speech".It's about right vs.wrong....kindness vs.hate...violence vs. non-violence.Which side are you on? rolleyes free speech is one thing, but racist, hateful bigotry (which inevitably leads to violence) should NEVER be accepted or tolerated. Stop kissing Trump's ass.Even many prominent Republicans in Congress are condemning him right now.

You have to realize, partisanship and solidarity matters more to him that right or wrong, or morals and values. He will never truly criticize "his side" , and will twist and turn to justify his obsequience. Here on this thread was a perfect example- while most decent people were criticizing racists and nazis for their violent behavior, he took the step to actually claim that Ms. Hayer had some complicity, had to take some blame, for her own murder. These actions and statements are telling ...

very telling,indeed nod
