The "Rock" for president. (For Fun Purposes)

We'd be entertained. In a good way.

He could do it, he can do anything. (I know it's a commercial}

Imagine him ending every campaign speech with "IF YA SMELLLLL.....what The ROCK....is cookin'". He'd be throwing in his catch phrases left, right and centre. Trumpcare would get the people's elbow for sure. I think he should run. He'd be the most electrifying president you've ever had.

Truely a nice person - and America he would b way better than your current choice

When I was young I used to believe America was an amazing country where dreams come true, a place like no other, but after a recent visit I honestly believe America has fallen behind the rest of the world especially when you look at the living standards in comparison to many other first world countries - you've gone backwards - it's really sad!!!

We've seen what The Rock was like before fame & after Fame...He didnt swallow his inner-nice guy and he has remained respectful to the Public and his peers...Based on that he'd probably be a Good President because he'd rise to the Challenge...Hearing him say Candy Azz during the State of The Union Address would guarantee him a 2nd term..

People can judge Arnold Schwarzenegger, but he stepped up to the plate to Govern California for 8yrs...He Trashed his marriage but he tried his best to keep it private and remain respectable...

Donald was always Trash, even before the Fame...He's giving us Trash in The White House...He is who he is...Noone should ever sugarcoat who & what he is...

Arnold may not have been perfect in his private life but he did an amazing job as Governor. I've never seen an American politician embrace the best parts of both Republican and Democrat like he did ... such a shame he'll never get a shot at the White House.

The Rock would get my vote though biggrin

Arnie could never be President. From what I understand a person has to be American born. He was born in Austria even if he has USA citizenship, where he was born is what it goes by.

The era of being a masculine man are over. In the 80s we had tough guys(Arnold, Bruce). Now the tough guys are Seth Rogen and Matt Damon. We have dumb-ed down America so much and made people so weak when they come here to fight us in 100 years no one will be even able to fight back and America will be taken over unless things change and guys like The Rock or other Wrestlers get into politics.

Matt Damon is a dumbed down version of Arnold and Bruce? I'm not seeing that.

I kind of hear you on the macho guy thing, but given that the Rock reputation is going up in this era, there has to be an extra element. I think it's the bruting macho guy that's going out of style, the one that's not threatened in his masculinity that he can still have a tea party with his little girl is very much in demand these days.

I don't see many tough guys and Damon and Rogen are closest to what we have. Even the Rock is tame. Wrestling is dumbed down more than ever too. Kids grow up different these days they sit in front of Xbox and blow shit up. We had rock, fist fights. Some bad things make you grow and understand life. Look at the reaction snowflakes had when Trump won. So what your candidate lost they acted like they were personally injured.

Well, given the past brutality of the history of the world, I'm banking we are supposedly trying to get to a place to where that kind of brutality isn't necessary to live life, most of it is man made anyway, we've corralled all the lions, tigers and bears, now we got to work on man himself. Definitely not there yet.

Everybody bitches when the opposite guy wins, I didn't just come out of a coma after Trump was elected, I saw the backlash about his predecessors winning too, so don't even come at me with blinders on talking about snowflakes. If Trump can dish it, then Trump can take it.

I would cut Kim Jong-uns head of with a knife in a minute. I could pull the trigger on any of ISIS and feel zero guilt. Violence is sometimes needed to protect us.

Not sure how that has anything to do with the Rock running for president, but okay.

Maybe you should run.

Celebrities should not be eligible to run for president unless they've had a couple terms in another office first.

For that matter, direct family members of former presidents should not be eligible to run for president for at least 50 years after the former president leaves office.

The popularity contest aspect needs to be removed from politics.
